Sebastian awakens to the warm sun falling over his skin and strong arms wrapped around his waist. Sebastian turns his head and smiles at the sight; Chris, fast asleep, cuddled into Sebastian's back.

He ever so carefully lifts Chris's arm from his waist, moving himself from out of the bed, and lays it back down, pulling the covers over Chris. He slips on some shoes, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and crosses the cabin, heading to the front door.

Sebastian unlocks it and walks out into the warm sunlight, fluttering his eyes shut, enjoying the feeling it left on his skin. The air was silent, just the brush of leaves and chirp of birds floating softly around his ears, no student in sight.

He felt achy with pain, lip stinging to the touch. His head felt heavy, the weight of guilt, fear, eating away inside of him, causing him to sigh.

Sebastian didn't want to go home. Tomorrow was his last day of freedom from the monster he calls his father and he needed to make it a good one. For the sake of his overcrowded mind and his sanity.

Taking in a small breath, Sebastian begins his slow walk through the camp. It was deserted. No instructor in sight. Just tall trees, beautiful sky, the beach and the cabins.

He takes the path that leads to the ocean, wanting to get his toes between the sand, the fresh smell of salt under his nose and the cold water on his skin.

Sebastian makes the walk last, having not had the best time at his yesterday, and takes in the camp he would be leaving in two days. It was going all to fast.  He needed it to slow down.

When he arrives, he stands on the wooden planks, gazing up at the sky. Please. Make these next few days good ones. I need it.

Taking in a long, deep breath, salt wafting around his nostrils, sand hitting his skin with the impact of the breeze, he takes a step down from the wooden planks that lead to the welcoming, creamy coloured sand.

It felt soft under his feet, cool to the touch, tickling skin. It had been far too long since Sebastian had been at a beach. The warm summer sun against his skin.

The breeze clouded through Sebastian's hair, resting a smile on his lips, eyes glued to the glistening water before him, listening to the call of the waves.

He takes those few steps, dipping his feet in the ice cold water, goosebumps erupting across his skin. Sebastian giggles like an innocent child.

He kicks the water around, watching it fall. He remembers the countless times he and his mother would go to the beach, running through the water, collecting shells, grabbing an ice cream and watching the waves crash against the sand.

Oh how happy he was back then. Not a care in the world. Ravishing in the attention, the cuddles. The laughter. Sebastian wished it could still be that way.

"There you are." Someone calls.

Sebastian stops what he's doing and turns around. Chris was standing a few feet away, smiling sleepily, still having bedhead. Cute.

"Oh, hi." He says, waving shyly. "Sorry, I should've left a note."

Chris shrugs, striding over to him, planting his feet in the sand. "Nah, it's all good. I just thought I'd find you reading or still asleep."
