Tears streamed down Sebastian's cheeks like a waterfall as his father lifts him from off the ground by his collar. He had found Sebastian's plan. Had found the money he had taken from his secret account. Sebastian was dead.
He slams him against the wall, eyes growing wide with anger. Sebastian lefts out a gasp of pain as his fathers fist repeatedly slammed into his stomach, knocking the air from his lungs, covering the skin with more bruises.
Sebastian could feel himself becoming lightheaded, but reminded himself it wouldn't stop there. His father would drag this out until Sebastian was on the floor in a puddle of his own blood, unconscious.
He threw Sebastian carelessly into the wall, watching him slide down it and into the pile of shattered glass from a few moments earlier, the sharp material sinking into his skin.
Sebastian whispers loudly, his body trembling as blood seeped down his arm and side. A kick is fired at the glass filled side, then many more follow, tears running down Sebastian's bruised cheeks.
He just lays there, taking the abuse, trying to gasp down breaths whenever he could. Sebastian wished it could just be over. That his father would just leave him to go and find his mother. Let him be happy again.
The kicks finally stop with one last scream from Sebastian's lips, the glass digging right into his skin. He can faintly hear his father slur something, though forces himself to focus on regaining his voice. Be able to scream so loud someone would come and save him.
Sebastian struggles on the floor, trying to crawl to the front door, when his father comes into view and it was too late. He was approaching Sebastian once more, lifting their one and only dining chair from its spot on the ground, eyes murderous. Sebastian retreats back to his corner, covering his shaking body with his arms.
"Dad, please." Sebastian begs. "Don't do this!"
His father ignores him and continues his approach, Sebastian curling into a small ball, hoping that this was all just a sick dream and that when he woke up, he would be in Chris's arms.
Sebastian screams, the loudest he's ever done before as the wooden chair slams against his shaking body, cracking on the legs. Sebastian is hit with the chair until it is broken into small pieces on the floor, blood covering every single one. By the time it was over, Sebastian was half conscious.
Sebastian was frightened at the amount of blood he saw. There had never been this much. He had nightmares that it would get like this, to the point his father finally killed him. But he never thought it would actually happen.
Then, there was a knock at the door. The only sign to Sebastian that he was still conscious. He hopes it was Chris, ready to run in and save him from this monster. But he knew that would never happen. Chris didn't even know where he lived.
"Oi, what's with all the noise? Wife and kids tryna sleep." A man, definitely not Chris, slurs loudly.
Sebastian's father chuckles. "Sorry bout that, just tryna fix my stupid home. It's falling apart."
"I hear ya, man. Same at Linda's down the road. You ready to head out?"
Yup. Definitely not Chris.
Sebastian hasn't a clue how much time had passed since his father left, but he was finally able to open his heavy eyes. Every inch of his body ached with pain, blood still pooling out of the cuts and he struggles to get to his feet, feeling extremely lightheaded.
