The Stan house hold was crazy. Dishes upon dishes upon dishes filled the sink, decorations covered the floor, the fridge was packed to the brim with food and there was still more on the bench. Sebastian and Georgeta were running around the house, Georgeta cooking while Sebastian tried to hang up all the lights.

"We really should've done the decorations yesterday." Georgeta calls from the kitchen.

"Agreed!" Sebastian yells from the top of the stairs, sweat coating his skin. "IM TOO SHORT FOR THIS."

Georgeta laughs, pulling out the batch of Christmas cookies from the oven. "Please be careful, we don't need any broken bones!"

Sebastian giggles. "I will."

"I thought Le was supposed to be coming over to help?" Georgeta says. "Or was it Scarlett?"

"They both were." Sebastian responds, entering the kitchen and snatching up one of the cookies. "But they're stuck in traffic. It's crazy."

Georgeta smacks Sebastian's hands away from the cookies with a chuckle, placing the tray on the other side of the bench. "Last minute buyers."

"Mhm. What are you and Lisa doing tomorrow night? I know we're doing a breakfast with her on Christmas morning, but what are you guys doing?" Sebastian asks, hopping up on the counter and taking a bite out of his cookie.

Georgeta smiles. "Lisa was kind enough to put together a dinner for us and all your friends parents."

"Oh cool. It's nice that we can spend Christmas together like one big family."

"It is, especially since we don't really have anyone else." Georgeta says sadly, sighing.

Sebastian smiles small and hops off the counter, bringing his mum in for a big bear hug. "I love you." Sebastian whispers. "Thank you for finding me."

Georgeta smiles, pressing a kiss to the crown of his head. "Thank you for letting me back into your life after I left."

They stay like that for a few moments, holding onto each other tightly. It still felt like a dream for them to be in their own house, in each other's arms, away from that man who caused them so much trauma.

A knock erupts from the front door, then the sound of it clicking open. "Seb?" Letitia calls, Scarlett soon joining her, kicking off their shoes.

"Coming!" Sebastian replies, breaking away from the hug and heading into the lounge. "Hey guys." He greets with a smile, waving.

"Sebby!" Scarlett coos. "Sorry we're so late, the decorating looks good though."

"Thank you."

Sebastian leads the girls upstairs where he was currently struggling to hang up some Christmas lights. "Why didn't you just grab a chair or something?" Letitia asks with a laugh.

"Because," Sebastian replies. "I probably would've fallen. Safety first."

The three manage to get the rest of the decorating done in under two hours with little to no distractions from Chris trying to call, scoring a few cookies from a grateful Georgeta.
