A/N: well... my schools being shut down for four weeks so... guess I'm back baha. I hope u r all safe, thank u for all the kind messages xx

Sebastian shows up to work later that day feeling more than a little disheartened. Bries and Scarletts responses were not what he was hoping for and he had no idea what to do. Chris couldn't even look at him.

His boss seems to notice his unenthusiastic mood and decides to take him outside to give him a breather and a chance to speak. "What's going on, honey?" She asks sweetly.

Sebastian shrugs. "Just... some friend troubles." He mumbles sadly, fiddling with the straps on his apron. "Nothing I can't handle."

She gives him an uncertain look. "Are you sure?"

Sebastian nods and bites his lip. "Yes. I'm fine."

Giving him one last look up and down, Sebastian's boss makes her way slowly back into the diner, arm draped over her large belly. Sebastian sighs and rubs his eyes to rid of the unshed tears before heading back inside.

Work is like it usually is, just less exciting. Sebastian barely gets through it and makes Letitia drop him off a few houses away from his own, knowing full well his father was home. "See you tomorrow." Sebastian says sadly, waving.

"Be careful, please." Letitia begs, "I don't want you getting hurt."

Sebastian gives her a small smile. "I'll be okay."

Letitia nods and allows Sebastian to close the door, watching intently as he began to trudge away. she was worried about him, especially more now that this had happened. Letitia sighs. what the hell is Chris thinking?

Sebastian walks through the unlocked door, toeing off his shoes neatly in the mess and slowly makes his way down the hallway. he catches sight of his father in the lounge passed out on the couch with multiple bottles of beer surrounding him. Sebastian sighs in relief, glad to be able to escape yet another beating, and walks upstairs to his bedroom. Sebastian flops onto his bed and finally, he lets his tears fall. all he wanted was to be wrapped in Chris's arms again, gazing up at the stars. but, it seemed as though that could never happen again. Chris hated him.

what Sebastian did not know, though, was that Chris couldn't bring himself to hate Sebastian. he knew he should, considering all that he had done, Chris just couldn't. it was hard hating the one that you love. but everyone knew what Chris was like. once he's had long enough to bottle everything up, he would burst and everything would all come out. everyone knew that he would grow angry to the point he did something stupid. something that he would regret.

Sebastian gets up once his tears are gone, wiping his hot cheeks. he goes into the bathroom to take a shower, not too long in fear of his father awakening, and thinks of ways of how he could talk to the rest of the group. how could he talk to them all individually when they stuck together like a pack, never leaving the others sight. and with Chris being the way he is, they would be closer than ever. Sebastian hangs his head in defeat, allowing the water to hit the back of his head at a harsh pace. the pressure of the water on his back hurt, badly, the old burn marks from boiling water not having healed just yet. Letitia didn't know about them. if she did, she would lose her head and force Sebastian to go to the police. he couldn't handle that.

showered and feeling only the tiniest bit better, Sebastian heads back into his room and snuggles into bed. he flutters his eyes closed, facing the wall, and allows the whistle of the wind to lull him to sleep.
