A/N : my friend told me I should stop being mean and update baha. So here you go!!

"Se... Sebastian?" Chris stammers out in disbelief, looking Sebastian up and down. He looked exhausted, terrified, but most of all, in pain.

The rain had soaked Sebastian head to toe, but Chris could tell he had been crying by the puffiness under his eyes and the redness on the tip of his nose. Chris found himself gravitating towards the beaten and bruised Sebastian, but every time he took a step forward, Sebastian took one back.

A lump formed in the back of Chris's throat at the thought of how terrified he was. Chris didn't shove him too hard to hurt him, right? He didn't yell too loud, did he?

"Sebastian." Chris says calmly, though inside he was panicking. "Step away from the edge. Please."

"No." Sebastian responds quietly, shaking his head. "N..no."

"Why not?" Chris asks, clenching his shaking hands into fists.

"I'm not good enough." Sebastian says with such emotion it brings Chris to tears. "I'm not good enough for you, or anyone for that matter."

"Yes you are." Chris whispers, inching closer. "Yes you are, Seb."

Sebastian shakes his head. "No I'm not." He shouts. "You all turned your back on me, so what's the point in saving me? Huh? So you can prove your a good person and then just leave me again? Leave me to die?"

"Seb— this- this isn't you." Chris says shakily, placing down his umbrella and phone.

"You know nothing about me." Sebastian spits. "Nothing. You know nothing of what I've been through. What I've seen. The pain I've endured. So leave and go find someone else worth saving."

Sebastian turns to face the edge, ready to jump, ready to leave everything behind. The pain, the grief. He was ready. Chris screams and runs towards  Sebastian as he begins to fall forward, wrapping his arms around his waist just in time. "Just let me do it." Sebastian whispers, wriggling in Chris's hold. "Let me finish what I came here to do!"

Chris shakes his head, holding back his own tears. Sebastian looked horrible. How could chris be so heartless? Sebastian was so skinny. Sickly, like he could break any moment. "No."

"Don't you get it? I'm nothing!" Sebastian yells. "I'm the school joke! A failure! You don't know what it's like to be worthless! Where nothing you do matters! I feel that way everyday of my life! Every goddamn day!"

Chris wraps his arms around Sebastian, listening to him whimper in pain, clutching at the back of Chris's shirt once he's calmed down. Chris felt sick at seeing the extent of Sebastian's injuries, all the blood. All the bruises. The boniness of his wrists. He couldn't seem to stop thinking about how he got them. How he could've become so skinny.

"Please, please I can't take this anymore." Sebastian whimpers suddenly, shaking his head. "I can't take it, Chris! Let me go!"

"I- I can't." Chris replies shakily, holding Sebastian closer. "I'm sorry, but I can't do that."

Sebastian freezes. "Why not?"

"Because... think about all the people who care about you... how they will feel!" Chris says, trying to convince him.

Sebastian shoves Chris away. "I have." He states. "There's no one. So there's nothing to live for."
