Sebastian walks into school, holding his broken nose between his fingers. He had been able to patch up the side of his head and tape his nose, though the pain was still unbearable. Sebastian already knew the questions Chris was going to ask.

He unlocks his locker, removing all the books needed and placing them into his bag. Sebastian then closes it once more and turns around, Chris already heading his way with Emily and Letitia beside him. "Seb!" He calls, waving like a maniac and causing the girls to giggle.

Sebastian barely raises his hand, the softest of waves  being returned. Chris's eyes morf into some of what concern and he fastens his pace, creating a sigh in the back of Sebastian's throat. "What on earth happened to you?" Chris asks, cupping Sebastian's cheeks. He moves his head slowly side to side, eyes widening at spotting the large bandage. "Sebastian." He says sternly.

Sebastian bows his head. "N—nothing... don't worry." He mumbles in response, desperately wanting to break away from the soft grip on his face.

Chris narrows his eyes. "Your nose! It's broken!" He cries, "why the hell haven't you gotten it fixed up?" Chris asks.

Letitia nods in agreement. "You need to go to the hospital, Seb." She says calmly, rubbing a kind hand up and down his arm. "It could get worse."

Sebastian shakes his head. "N- no.. it's fine. I'm fine." He growls, feeling suddenly defensive. His three friends sigh and grab his hands.

"At least let us take you to the nurses office?" Emily asks.

"No." Sebastian says sternly. "It's fine. Just back off."

Sebastian doesn't wait for a response and limps off down the hall, hand cupping his nose. Pain flowed through his veins, sparking something inside of him that he didn't know was possible. Sebastian had broken his nose before, so he should be able to get through this one. But, it was different this time. The pain was worse, the bleeding had been nonstop after he woke up, and he had broken down into harsh sobs while he strapped it.

Sebastian gets through his morning classes filled with pain, ignoring the worrisome glances from his friends. When lunch rolled around, he opted to sit with Letitia instead of with the group, placing his tray down on the seat across from her.

Letitia looks up from her phone, shocked. "Hey," she says, placing it down on the table. "How come you aren't sitting with Chris?"

Sebastian shrugs. "Didn't want to." He responds, pushing the food around his plate. "Didn't want to listen to their worried questions."

Letitia chuckles. "I understand. But.. could you at least tell me what happened?"

"Fell down the stairs."

"Again?" Letitia asks, eyes wide.

Sebastian nods. "You sound just like him." He mumbles.

Letitia furrows her brows. "Who?"

"Chris."

The two sat in silence for a few moments, Sebastian staring down at his untouched food, glad that Letitia had dropped the subject. Letitia smirks. "You really like him, don't you?" She asks with a giggle.
