Sebastian was nervous to say the least. Cursing was being heard from the kitchen, and anytime he asked if Chris needed his assistance, he was denied with a small shout of a "NO!"

Chris would then come out from the kitchen and into the bedroom, each time more and more covered in flour and cocoa powder, sometimes there was even butter in his hair. Sebastian would have to stop himself from laughing, Chris's lips in a pout, hands clasped together and his head bowed.

"It's not going as planned, but I'm sure I don't need help. I can do this!" Chris would say, running back to the kitchen at hearing the timer going off.

And now, an hour later, Sebastian hadn't heard anything from the latter and was growing more and more concerned.

"Chris?" He calls, placing his book open paged on the bedside table. "Chris?"

No response. Sebastian gets up off the bed and tiptoes over to the kitchen doorway, poking his head around the corner. Chris's back was facing him, hands on either side of the counter, head down.

"Chris?" Sebastian whispers, walking over and placing a kind hand on his back. "You okay...?"

Chris slowly straightened himself up, turning around to face Sebastian who was on his right side, looking up at him worriedly as he rubs circles in his back. Chris's eyes were wide, sparkling even, a happy smile on his lips. "It finally worked."

"What?" Sebastian asks, removing his hand and cupping it over his mouth, trying not to laugh.

"It worked." Chris repeats, throwing his arms in the air and yelling. "IT FUCKING WORKED! THANK YOU MOTHER!"

Sebastian wheezes. Chris grabs Sebastian in his arms, lifting him with ease and spinning them around, laughing gleefully. Sebastian was laughing, eyes filled with unshed tears, confused as to what was going on but wasn't complaining.

"This is a fucking miracle." Chris mutters, placing Sebastian back down and pulling the trays of cookies and cupcakes from the oven. "They aren't burnt."

Sebastian giggles. "Okay, how about you go sit down and I can make some sandwiches?"

Chris nods. "Okay." He covers his baking with a tea towel to protect it from flies and any hands wanting to grab at them. Sebastian watches him leave the kitchen, that same grin on his lips, almost as though he was shocked that it worked, and stops himself from falling into another fit of laughter.

"Okay." Sebastian mumbles. "That was... interesting."

He makes the sandwiches in record time, covering them in sandwich paper and placing them in the fridge. "Chris!" Sebastian shouts. "Everything's ready!"

"Coming!"

Chris emerges dressed in a new pair of jeans and his signature white tee, hair dripping wet. Sebastian's jaw almost drops at the sight, but stops himself, a blush erupting across his cheeks.

"They look great." Chris compliments, smiling. "Thanks for making them."

Sebastian shrugs. "No problem."

"Okay, you can get dressed into something different if you want to. If not, chuck on your shoes and let's get going."

Sebastian slips on his shoes, waiting for Chris to grab the bag before opening the cabin door. It was nice and cool out, the sun beginning to set, casting rays of oranges and pinks across the sky.
