Chris looks down at Sebastian, admiring his complexion. The small freckles on his cheeks, so light you can barely see them. His long, curled lashes. Plump lips, the bottom one in which had a split in it. Everything about Sebastian was so calming.
Chris loved how needy and clingy Sebastian could be. How innocent he was. How adorable. How shy.
Sebastian takes in another deep breath, shuffling around so that Chris could see his clothed belly rise and fall, the action creating a sense of calmness, relaxation. Creating the sense that this was real. That Chris was not dreaming, that Chris was finally able to hold Sebastian in his arms.
Chris had to play it off as a friend comforting a friend, though. Not Chris holding his crush while he sleeps.
Chris overlooks the waves softly crashing over one another, how the water glitters under the suns bright light, he almost doesn't catch Scarlett coming up beside him.
"Hey," he whispers, manoeuvring Sebastian between his legs, still snuggled into Chris's chest.
Scarlett wears a warm smile on her lips and awes at the sight. "Look at you two, so cute." She gushes, plonking down beside her best friend. "I'm guessing last night went well?"
Chris sighs happily, fingers running through Sebastian's hair. "Yeah." He responds. "It did."
"What did you do in town?" Scarlett asks, pulling her hoodie up over her hands.
"Well, we had sushi for dinner cause Seb had been dying to have some, talked, held hands since it was actually really crowded," now that was a lie, Scarlett didn't need to know that, "got an ice cream, I made Seb draw the first thing that came to his mind with chalk on the pavement, then I gave him a piggyback back to camp." Chris concludes with a grin.
"Sounds a bit like a date, C." Scarlett teases, pinching his shoulder. "What'd you do once you got back?"
A sly smirk makes its way onto Chris's lips just thinking about what he did to poor Sebastian. Scarlett furrows her brows.
"I know that look," she says. "What did you do?"
Chris chuckles. "Oh nothing.." he says innocently, then proceeds to tell Scarlett exactly what he did.
Scarlett gasps, smacking Chris behind the head with a giggle. "Chris!" She hisses, "you little shit!"
Chris laughs. "I couldn't help myself!" He cries. "His little whimpers, so cute."
Scarlett groans, fake gagging. "God, just fuck him already."
Chris slaps her this time, hard. "No," he says sternly. "We've gone over this, we are just friends."
Scarlett rolls her eyes. "Yeah, just friends my ass." She gets up from the grass, dusting herself off. "Have fun with your friend."
"Where are you going?" Chris asks, then shushes Sebastian quietly as he begins to whimper. "It's okay, Seb. It's just a dream. You're safe."
It does the trick and Chris turns his attention back to the girl, smirk on her lips. "Gotta go help Emily with something. Catch you later?"
"Course."
With that, she's gone, leaving Chris to hold Sebastian in silence once more, Scarlett words not leaving his mind.
Yeah, just friends my ass.
Chris sighs. Sebastian wouldn't go for him, he was too loud and bulky. Sebastian probably liked nice quiet guys.
You are quiet though! Chris's mind yells.
Chris shakes his head. No. He tells himself. We're just friends!

It had been a few hours since Sebastian's little nap, and now he was on his bed, reading his book while Chris was out with his friends. Sebastian wasn't in the mood to talk, so Chris let him stay alone just for now.
Sebastian couldn't focus on his book though. Last night coursing through his mind.. Chris had heard him... woken up to him flipping moaning! How embarrassing could he get? Though, it was practically Chris's fault. He shouldn't have done it in the first place, moving around that way in his sleep.
Sebastian pauses. Oh my god— a hand cups over his mouth, cheeks turning a deep red. Chris was awake. Chris was fucking awake.
Sebastian couldn't work out if that was more embarrassing than Chris actually being asleep. Chris was... playing with him? Teasing him? He was so confused.
The door to the cabin opens, snapping Sebastian from his thoughts. He fumbles with his book, then shoves it close to his face, pretending to be invested in the pages while Chris made his way back to the room.
"Seb, you should've come!" Chris calls, laughing. "Tessa shoved Emily into the water!"
Should I confront him? Should I maybe just casually bring it up? WHAT DO I DO—
"Seb?"
Sebastian snaps his head up, frightened, gulping at seeing how close Chris really was. "Y-yes?" He squeaks. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. He was screwed.
Chris smiles softly. "You okay?"
"Yeah, c-course."
Chris eyes him suspiciously, then nods, getting up from where he was knelt beside Sebastian's bed. "Okay, good. I was thinking." Chris begins, walking over to his bag. "That seeming it's our last night tonight that we go to the beach for a picnic or something."
Sebastian's heart flutters. "Just us?" He asks, hesitant.
Chris pauses, then turns his head. "Yeah... if.. if that's okay with you?"
"Yes!" Sebastian responds. "I mean... yeah.. yeah course.. course.."
Chris chuckles. "Sweet. I'll start cooking everything up, and you, just relax until it's time."
Sebastian nods. "O-okay."
Grabbing the spear bag from one of the pockets in his carrier bag, Chris crosses the room and goes back into the kitchen, pulling up a bunch of recipes on his phone.
Biscuits, cupcakes, sandwich ideas. It was going to be perfect. If his mothers baking skills were passed down to him, that is.
Chris pulls out different sized bowls, measuring cups, a sift and an electric beater. Chris connects his phone to the speaker he had brought to the camp, going onto Spotify and begins to play his music.
He closes his eyes, taking in a deep breath. You can do this. He tells himself. You can do this.
