Good morning?? He didn't get a wink of sleep. He cried himself the whole time, scrolling through conversations and pictures of you and him together. He tried to relive any memory he could remember of you and him together based on what he read or saw, and continuously he broke his own heart because of this.

Yet he didn't stop, not until he could see the sun rise from his window.

Which part here was "the usual routine"?

Shirabu had to ask himself that as he started the morning the way he didn't expect. He could tell that your texts were already distant and cold, it wasn't like the usual cutesy text where you'd send kaomojis, or extend the last letter. Heck, you even hesitated to send that 'I love you'.

But this'll do. It was much better than none at all.

He sighed in despair, fixing himself up to get ready to go to school for their morning practice. Anxiousness surging all throughout his entire being but tried not to let it bother him too much.

He struggled to stay motivated by himself, especially since he was yearning for your own motivation for him. And his seniors seemed to have noticed this.

"Something bothering you, Shirabu?" Semi asked while they were changing to their regular school uniforms once he saw that his junior was merely sitting while still on his gym clothes, unmoving.

Though he snapped out of his trance when his attention was called.

"What's the matter~? Does it have something to do with [YF/N]-chan~?" Tendou carelessly asked. It didn't go unnoticed by anyone when Shirabu flinched at the mention of you, though tried not to let any emotion show.

"Your eyes are all puffed out and red since morning!" Goshiki pointed out. Shirabu didn't even realize this as he was looking down while he was fixing himself up, not bothering to check the mirror to see how he looked.

The atmosphere was quiet and uncomfortable to the point that it made Shirabu sweat. He had his head down. He had no intention to respond immediately as he was on the verge of crying. He wanted to calm himself down to be able to answer properly.

But Goshiki had to ask.

"Did [YL/N]-san break up with you....?"

He broke down, in front of his teammates who surely seemed surprised by the sudden outburst.

They were silent, not knowing what to do as they stared at Shirabu's pitiful state. Even Tendou couldn't say anything, and Goshiki felt guilty.
