He loved being admired, receiving compliments, getting attention, and so on. He loved it even more when you, his girlfriend, were the one who showered him with those.

Every time he would do something great, he'd immediately turn around, eyes sparkling and a proud look on his face, and you'd be there, clapping and cheering at him, telling him, even from afar, that he had done a great job.

When he spiked one of Shirabu's set during morning practice, he turned to your usual spot, expecting to see you cheer for him but you were, instead, helping the ace wrap tape around his fingers while casually chatting up with him, even giggling while Wakatoshi didn't give much of a reaction, he did offer a small smile at whatever his junior was telling him.

It should be his hand you're holding.

"She's busy, let her be, and get out of the way." Shirabu said in irritation as he prepared to set for Reon.

Goshiki pouted childishly and scooted away, slowly approaching you. The ace was the first to notice him so he thanked you and left. You spun around and faced your boyfriend, face brightening and immediately spread welcoming arms to him.

He was like a puppy as he hurried to where you were and let himself be caged in your arms, face buried on your nape despite the height difference.

Shirabu thought that if Goshiki had a tail, it would wag eagerly.

"You didn't see me earlier..." He mumbled, pout not leaving his lips as he peered over you. You patted his head softly as you giggled.

"Sorry, Tsu. I was helping out Wakatoshi-senpai," He grumbled incoherent words of complaint and you giggled once more, "I'm sure you did well, though, sweetie. I'm so proud of you." You gave a light kiss on his temple. He blushed slightly, making him hide his face on your shoulder.

"Don't look at anyone else." He murmured. You gave soothing pats at his back and nodded, "Okay, sweetie. My attention is all yours. Now go and practice with them."

He raised his head and turned around to see that all eyes were on you too, various reactions came from their members, some cringed, some found it cute, but Goshiki wasn't embarrassed, in fact, he ran back to them with a proud look while leaving you a blushing mess.

He specifically gave a triumphant look towards Ushijima, who looked stern as always, but seemed confused at whatever the reason was for it.

All the jealousy he felt moments ago left and came just as quickly when an unfamiliar guy peeked inside the gym, and when he saw you, he waved at you and signaled you to come to him.

Goshiki observed he was good looking. He could see those sparkles and flowers in the background. He almost resembled Oikawa Tooru from Aoba Johsai.

How irksome for Goshiki.

You were quick to react as you hastily walked to the guy, giving a goodbye towards the volleyball club before walking off with the guy but not before giving a small kiss on your boyfriend's cheek.

"I don't understand how matured [YF/N] is compared to Goshiki, even if they're the same age." Shirabu murmured but was obviously heard by everyone who nodded in agreement other than Goshiki himself.
