Mary Sue Tests

I'm taking some Mary Sue tests for Inkwell because I feel like it would be pretty easy to claim he is one because of his powers. I'm hoping to get rid of any of this notion, even though nobody's told me he is. So here's the results, in the order they came up on google:

29 points: Low-to-moderate chance your character is a Mary Sue.

Inkwell is nothing like you. He may be popular, or he may not, but no matter what he's impossible to ignore; he stands out... just the way you always wanted to. He may have sometimes thought that he was special, or destined for greater things, but probably dismissed the idea as a fantasy. He's come in for his share of hurt, but gotten off with minor damage. And he's gotten no slack from you.

In general, you care deeply about Inkwell, but you're smart enough to let him stand on his own, without burdening him with your personal fantasies or propping him up with idealization and over-dramatization. Inkwell is a healthy character with a promising career ahead of him.

(Not a relevant result, came up with some blog thingy)

No, you're fine!

I can’t find this other one I took, but my score was 128/156 (higher scores were good, it was set up as a true/false quiz, and the non-Mary-Sueish stuff was “correct”)

As you can see, he just… Isn’t a Mary Sue. I know, his power seems OP, but it isn’t everything. I’ve never had anyone call him a Mary Sue, but I’m sure some people cringe and immediately think “Mary Sue” when they find out whatever he writes comes true. But Inkwell has a good amount of character flaws and weaknesses; he’s in no way perfect. I’ve spent over a year developing this character. I’ve probably spent hours trying to balance him out and make him an interesting character. So, if you’re in the “he’s a Mary Sue” camp, please give him a chance… (And if you’re not, then you’re awesome. Thank you! :D)
