“Izzy! What. Have. You. Done?!”
Look, I really do love my best friend. She’s like a sister to me. But sisters can be a pain in the ass.
“What?” She walked up to me, fidgeting with her hands, and biting her lip with a grimace on her face.
‘Now Iz, you have 20 seconds to explain what you have done. Counting now. 20, 19, 18 – ”
“20 seconds! That’s bull – ”
“15, 14, 13 –”
“Alright! Alright…”
I placed my hands on my hips, my eyebrows raised to the roof of my head.
“OK so… I may have over done everything, on the whole decorating thing…”
“That doesn’t explain anything. What on earth gave you the erg to cover my walls in posters of… wait. Who is it of?” I was sincerely confused as five different faces of boys stared back at me from the glossy paper.
Every single wall was covered in posters. I would have thought that the posters were of One Direction (who I didn’t mind) but it wasn’t them. It was another five guys. All of which had brown hair except for one who had blonde shaggy hair.
“What About Tonight?”
“What About Tonight?” I asked.
“No! What About Tonight. It’s the name of the band.”
I huffed in frustration. “And who are What About Tonight?”
She sighed, a whistle of breathe escaping her lips. “Did you happen to watch X Factor at all?” She asked.
“Yeah a little of it. Oh! They’re those guys! The ones that got eliminated. Wait, they came 11th or something. Why are they plastered on my walls?” I wasn’t a huge fan of the boys, and it’s not like the won the competition anyways.
“Because I love them. And the X factor was rigged anyways. Besides, they have already been signed and are currently producing a new song.” She huffed, folding her arms over her chest.
I rolled my eyes at her, sighing in defeat.
“One last question: How long do you think it will take, to actually take down these posters?”
2 hours later and we were carefully taking down the posters, although one of the guys in the pictures actually caught my eye.
“Brock Jays.” I read aloud.
“Ahh, the Brockstar!” Iz mumbled dreamily.
“You like him?” I asked her.
“Like him? Love him. He is so dedicated to his fans, and really down to earth! Plus, he’s easy on the good old eyes!” She winked.
I laughed a little at her, but this was pretty much her normal behavior.
2 hours ago, Iz and I were in a constant argument about the posters, and we both finally agreed to take them down so she could keep them for herself.
I mean I wouldn’t have minded so much if there were say… 1 or 2 posters? But not 33. Yeah, we counted.
“I can’t pick a favourite though. They’re all so damn sexy!” Iz giggled, looking at a photo in her hands.
