Reader's POV:

It had been 2 whole months since me and Lana got together, and honestly it had been the best 2 months of my life. I'd never been in a relationship where it was like you were best friends and partners at the same time, I'd clearly been missing out. We spent most of the time at her place, with the occasional night apart. We hadn't told anyone about our relationship yet. Although, it wasn't hard to put two and two together, especially in the office. If anyone caught the way we looked at each other, or the subtle touches we shared, and the hushed conversations. The guys were jerks but they weren't idiots, well for the most part. Chris made a remark once about me fucking the boss.. and, well let's just say I didn't rush to deny it.

This was a new experience for me, I'd never dated a woman before so I didn't know how anyone would react. All I knew is that I was the happiest I'd been in a long time, and that's all that mattered.

I sighed as I flopped down behind my desk. It had been one hell of a morning. Who knew that organising book tours and interviews would be so time consuming and not to mention very stressful. Chris was being his usual asshole self which didn't make my job any easier.

"Aw, you had a stressful morning?" He mocked, using a childlike voice.

"Shut the fuck up, Chris." I groaned, flipping him off. He chuckled, the rest of the office joining in. I was not in the mood to take his shit today, or any other day for that matter. They all soon shut up when Lana strolled into the office, looking exactly how I felt. If looks could kill, Chris would certainly be a goner.

I hadn't been able to stop thinking about her all day, and my day certainly brightened the moment I saw her. She had been absent from the office all morning, back to back meetings taking up most of her time, so I was beginning to have Lana withdrawals.

She smiled at me weakly as she neared my desk, her hand gently squeezing mine, before she made her way into her office. Looks like we both had a stressful morning.

I waited a few minutes before casually standing and making my way over to Lana's office. Her door was slightly ajar so I knocked quietly before entering. "Hey," I said closing the door behind me. She was sat at her desk, brows furrowed slightly, typing furiously on her keyboard. It took her a moment to look up but when she did her expression softened. "Stressful morning?" I asked making my way over to her.

"You could say that." She half chuckled, turning her chair to face me. "Better now you're here." She winked as she pulled me onto her lap. I couldn't help the squeal that escaped my throat and I prayed none of the guys in the other room heard it.

"Haven't been able to stop thinking about you all morning." She said running her hands up and down my back, sending shivers down my spine.

"Me neither, you're very distracting." I wrapped my arms around her neck, leaning down to capture her lips with mine.

"Is that so?" She smirked as she pulled away. I hummed in response and she chuckled lightly. "Well then, I do apologise." She grasped my chin between her thumb and index finger, bringing my lips to meet hers in another, more passionate kiss. Our breath mingled together as her tongue swirled around mine and a low moan escaped the back of my throat.

I pulled away panting breathlessly, my lips slightly swollen. "I guess you're forgiven."

Her lips moved along my jaw, peppering light kisses down to my neck and she nipped at my skin softly. "Oh and I've emailed you the details of your book tour along with your schedule for the next month." Another loud moan escaped my mouth and I felt her giggle against me, before she whispered a; "Thank you." She sucked harder on my skin and I gasped at the sensation that vibrated through my whole body. My head fell back giving her access to my throat as her hands slid up my shirt, caressing the skin on my bare back. Our lips found each other once more in a heated kiss, but before it could lead to anything else, Lana pulled away. "Lock the door." She whispered, her hungry eyes compelling me.
