Part 15 ( What's Going On? )

Yibo climbed down the staircase slowly. He found Geraldyn downstairs was wrapping some food for his lunch.

"Hi, Hun! How's your back?" Geraldyn greeted Yibo when he appeared at the dinning table.

"Much better...!" Yibo smiled, and sat on the chair starting to forked up his scrambled eggs.

Geraldyn smiled. She handed the lunchbox to Yibo. Yibo smiled and mumbled a 'thank you'.

Geraldyn was taken a back when she saw a purplish mark sticking out from yibo's shirt collar. But she shrugged it off when Yibo turned his face to her.

"Anyway! Tonight I'll be home late. I got a wedding party invitation from my colleague. So, you better eat at the cafe. I don't have the leftover food, either!" Geraldyn said.

"It's fine. I can settle by myself..!" Yibo replied.

"I wish I will see you marry a  beautiful girl of your choice. And two of you would have beautiful children, too..!" Geraldyn sighed.

Yibo gulped the scrambled eggs he was chewing with difficulty. He stared at the eggs that left half and played it with the fork. It didn't goes unnotice by Geraldyn.

"I gotta go now! You better don't cycling first! Otherwise you'll get your back worse!"

"Ok."

"Do you want me to drop you at your campus, then?" Geraldyn asked.

"No! I'm fine. My class still 45 minutes later. I can take bus to get there!" Yibo declined.

"Ok, then! Here! Your phone! I'm sorry for being too harsh to you. I did it for your goodness sake. Your parents trusted you to me..!" Said Geraldyn, placed the cellphone belongs to Yibo in the dinning table.

Yibo glanced at the phone  then looked up at Geraldyn, then he smiled.

"I understand. I'm sorry for make you worry, Geraldyn..." Yibo said.

"It's ok..!" Geraldyn smiled and slapped Yibo's face gently. Then she walked out of the dining area.

"Hey! Your Dean is so young and handsome! No wonder you like to spend a loy of your time with him!" Geraldyn shouted from the foyer while she putting on her shoes.

Hearing his aunt's compliment, Yibo's cheeks were heated. He smiled at Geraldyn.

Geraldyn flashed her charming smile then went out of the house. Closing the door, she sighed and her beaming face dropped into a worry.

"He's blushing whenever I mention his name... What is this? What happened between the two of them..?" Geraldyn sighed.

She walked down the pavement approaching her car. When she was going to enter her car, Su Nian passed by with his scooter. He flashed a bright smile at Geraldyn and waved his hand.

"Good morning, Geraldyn!" He greeted Geraldyn. But he was taken aback a little when he found she was glaring at him with hatred.

"What happened with her?" Su Nian muttered while kept going with his scooters.

Yibo came out of the porch when a familiar car stopped by in front of the house. Yibo stuned on his spot, looking at the car as the driver rolled down its window. There was a man with black sunglasses smiling at him. His smile was as bright and warm as the sunshine that shone that morning.

"Come on in!" The driver tilted his head, signalling Yibo to hop on his car.

Yibo's heart was racing. He clutched his old school bag's strap as he walked up to the car. He crouched down to the level of the man who sitting in the driver's seat.
