Part 27 (Broken)

Yibo was having a Sunday day off of his work. Today he wanted to spend this time with the Qi family. They were having a barbeque at the backyard.

"Pei Xin, get the habanero from the fridge, please?" Chun Hua asked her oldest son.

Pei Xin got up from the pool chair and strode to the house.

"Yibo, can you call Chern ern? Tell him the food is ready..! asked Chun HUa to Yibo who was busy flipping the meat on the grilling rack.

Yibo ran into the house, passed the kitchen and rolled to the main area of the house. He knocked at Chern Ern's room door.

"Chern Ern! The food is ready! Come out now!" Yibo yelled into the door.

"Coming soon! " Chern Ern replied from inside.

Yibo shrugged. then he left, planed to get back to the backyard again, when he saw a black MErcedez BEnz parked at the driveway in front of their house. Yibo squinted his eyes, and walked toward the front door, watching them from the small glass window next to the door. A man came out from the driver side and jogged to the other side of the car and opened the rear passenger seat door. An elegant woman at her 50s climbed down the car. She stood in an elegant yet arrogant gesture before the driver could closed the car door for her.

The woman stepped out of the car door and the driver closed the door. The woman walked proudly toward the house. The man opened the low small wooden gate of the house, and let the woman get into the yard before he tailed her behind. Stood on the porch, she gestured the man to press the doorbell. The man nodded and about to press the doorbell, when Yibo opened the door and popped out from behind the door.

"Can I help you?" Yibo asked. He glanced at the woman and he felt his blood froze. Isn't her Zhan Ge's mother?

"Yes! I want to meet with Wang Yibo...!" The man said.

Yibo turned his gaze to the man and nodded. "That's should be me, then!" He replied.

"Madam WAn wants to have some words with you..!" The man said again. He turned to the woman he called Madam Wan. "Madam?" He asked the woman.

The woman waved her hand to the man, signalling him to dismiss.

"Leave!" Said the woman with a stiff and stern voice.

The man nodded and bowed at her. Then he left the porch and stood beside the car. The woman looked at Yibo sharply. Yibo felt the awkwardness ripping his soul. He pursed his lips to fight his nervousness and nodded at the woman, called Madam Wan.

"I believe that we have met before. Mr. Wang Yibo?" Madam Wan started to speak.

"Ye- yes... We have, Mdm. Xiao..!" Yibo answered.

"Wan! Madam Wan! My surname is WAn and always be Wan!" madam Wan raised her voice found the Xiao name tagged after her tittle.

Yibo was flinch. He couldn't hide his nervousness.

Gossshhh... this woman's aura is so strong and unfightable. No wonder Zhan Ge finds the difficulty to against her... Yibo thought to himself.

"I want you to leave my son. Xiao Zhan...!" said Madam Wan, startled Yibo.

"Excuse me?'" Yibo felt he just hit by the lightning.

"I'm sure you heard me. I don't need to repeat my words...! Stop seducing my son. We are trying to treat his sickening disease and make him back to normal. So , you don't ruin our plan to heal him!" Madam Wan answered.

"But he is the one who approached me first. I never flirt with him. He loves me. And I love him, too!"

"Stop this nonsense! There is no such love in this universe! That is only your sickening behaviour who want to against the nature and the norms. Don't you know he almost heal, and agreed to marry the girl of our choice? Then suddenly you came into the picture! Do you think it is fair for him!? He also wants to build a family, have children of his own... So, let his dream comes true, if you are really love him!"
