Part 51 ( An Angela Hsu )

Angela Hsu was a sweet 15 year old girl. She's a little bit tomboy. But she was a sweet girl. She lost her mother a few months ago. So now she only lived with her father which was a hunter and a little brother aged 10. She has been befriended with Geraldyn since she entered the 7th grade. They were a good friend to each other since then. As an introvert person, Angela felt grateful that she had a schoolmate that willing befriend with her. And Geraldyn wasn't just an ordinary student. She was smart, pretty, a prom queen  and popular amongst the students at the school, especially the boys.

Angela admired Geraldyn a lot and she was proud to get a friend like her. Angela wasn't the best student but she was smart, too, but she was just much less popular than Geraldyn because she mostly spent her free time at the library and she wasn't as good looking as Geraldyn.

"Paul asked me out!" Cried Geraldyn at the time when Angela was collecting a firewood that she just cut.

Angela's expression was darkened when she heard Geraldyn announced about her date. But she quickly replace it wit a smile.

"Oh? Really? That's good. You deserve it..!" Replied Angela and brought the firewoods into the house.

"Wait! Are you not happy, Angie?" Geraldyn frowned when she saw Angela's reaction. She followed Angela to the house.

"I'm happy! I'm happy for you! See?" Angela dropped the woods next to the fireplace and smiled at Geraldyn.

"Um... Is there... By any chance... You like Paul Chen?" Asked Geraldyn, cringing, worried if she might hurt her bestfriend's feeling

"What?? Hell, no,, Gerry... I don't like him! Well, not in romantic way..!" Cried Angela.

Geraldyn sighed in relief. She's smiled.

"I was so scared that I take a boy you are into..!" Said Geraldyn.

Angela shook her head and grumbled, " Don't be ridiculous!"

"Well? Are you coming to the Prom this Friday night?" Asked Geraldyn.

"Hell, no....! That is the least place that I will going to....!" Angela hissed.

"Oh, come on... It'll be finy, Angie..! Maybe you can get a date there!" Geraldyn whined.

"I don't want any dates!" Angela raised her voice,made Geraldyn flinched.

Geraldyn stood and stuned on her spot. Her eyes stared at Angela who kept looking away, avoiding eye contact with her.

"It's ok. I understand. I'm sorry for forcing you.." Geraldyn muttered. Then she left.

Angela wanted to stop her from leaving. But she couldn't. She felt her tongue was tied up and her feet just planted into the ground.

Finally the prom day has come. Geraldyn happily and nervously waited for Paul to fetch her in the house. When Paul came he drove her to the prom party venue with a car that he borrowed from his father since he unable to bring Geraldyn who dressed up nicely in a beautiful gown with her motorbike.

"WHere is your friend?" asked Paul when they reached the place for the party.

'She didn't want to come...!" replied Geraldyn.

"What a waste. She would be a pretty girl in the party..!" said Paul.

Geraldyn creased her brows looking at Paul. Paul who noticed a little envious in Geraldyn's eyes smiled.

"I'm just saying. Doesn't mean I'm interested with her..!" said Paul.

"Whatever!" Geraldyn waved her hand then proceeded to the table where they served the drinks.
