Part 42 ( A Housewarming )

The next morning Xiao Zhan woke up and found Yibo has left the house. There was a piece of paper on the bed at Yibo's side. Xiao Zhan took it and squinted his eyes to adjust his sight.

I left early today. No need to wait for me. I'll sleep at Geraldyn's house tonight.

Xiao Zhan ripped the paper and smashed it into the floor. Then he rubbed his face, ruffled his hair. He jumped off of the bed and stormed to the bathroom.

"The person is here. And stalks us..!" Xiao Zhan told the detective when he decided to meet with him.

"Did you see him? Or her?" Asked the detective, sipping his coffee.

"Yibo did. Near the pool. She even can barge into the garden already. There is no way out at the back. There is no gate, and she can climbed out of the gate...!"

"What is the height of your house border wall?"

"The back wall is about 2 mtrs. But it won't be easy to jump off of the wall with that high. And she did it very past!"

"Are you sure this person is a she? Not a he?"

"Based on what we found at the crime scene in the forest, yes I'm sure. Very sure!"

"Does Yibo told you how the figure of this person?" The detective ceased his brows.

Xiao Zhan dead silent. He never asked Yibo about how the stalker look like, at least her figure. He was too surprise last night when Yibo told him about the stalker that made him angry and scolded him for no good reason.

"No. I don't ask him, either..!" Replied Xiao Zhan.

"Well, we have to ask him, I guess...!" Said the detective.

"He's gone since early morning. And he won't pick up my call or reply my texts..." Xiao Zhan spoke in a low voice.

Det. Luo smiled understandingly.

"Is it possible if I send some of my people to watch him? I really worry about his safety. He's been abducted once. I'm affraid if there is anyone who still keep a grudge at him...!" Said Xiao Zhan.

"If this stalker is really the shooter, I don't think she wants to endanger Yibo's life. As we know, he shot your mother was just right. She didn't miss the shoot to get into Yibo. From that distance and with that Remington, the bullet will just went through your mother's body and it might hurt Yibo. But I guess she's a professional shooter who knows how to calculate the shooting distance and how she supposed to shoot the firearm...!" The detective explained.

"What do you mean? She's not after Yibo?" Asked Xiao Zhan, looking at the detective with side eyes.

"Maybe. Maybe not. I can't predict it accurately. I just guessing..!" Det. Luo answered.

"So... Do you want to say that she's after me? Why?" Xiao Zhan asked again, curiously.

"Well, since the females who hate Yibo are in the hospitals, she just might stalks you. Why? I don't know..!"

"Hmm... So who's this fellow? What on earth does she want from me?" Xiao Zhan mumbled.

"That is what we have to find out!" Said Det. Luo.

"But to prevent something we don't expect to happen, I still need to send my men to watch the boy. I can't forgive myself if something bad happens again to him..!"

"As you wish, Mr. Xiao..! But you better provide yourself a bodyguard, too! She might comes to you when you are unaware and alone..!" Det. Luo suggested.

"Naahh... I'll be fine. No worry. I have my own gun too to protect myself..!" Declined Xiao Zhan.

"If you say so..!" The detective shrugged.
