A cozy atmosphere in the cafe. The song Actually You Don't Understand My Heart by Angus Tung, played in the background, filled the cafe with a mellow feeling.
Geraldyn sat alone at a table between other customers. She was enjoying a cup of coffee and a piece of pastry. She felt fresh. At least for now. She didn't want to think about anything. Yet. Angela was in Hong Kong, carried a duty and hardly contacted her to mess around with her mind and feeling. The last time she heard from Angela was when she informed her that she had finished the wicked lady called Madam Wan Zhao Ying.
Did she feel relief for that? Yes, she did. She had destroyed her career and reputation at her work place by telling the Authority which forbidden the homosexual to work in their agency, that she had a romantic relationship with a Thai girl who visited her frequently. And she used to think that Wan Zhao Ying herself who banned her lover from entering the country. Little did she know, there was the third party who dipping inside their feud and took advantage of it.
Many times the hanging bell on the cafe door clang and chimed. But she didn't really bother it. Until when the bell chimed one more time, she caught a very familiar voice.
"Hi, Aunty Lin! The usual for us, please?"
It was Paul's voice. Geraldyn hadn't talked or met him in a quite some time. She kinda miss him. Missing his company, missing his touch when she was away from her girlfriend. She was missing to be loved by the man that once she called as her boyfriend back at highschool before finally he met Sui Liam and attracted to her.
Geraldyn's face was beamed by hearing the voice. She was more than excited until he turned around abruptly with a broad smile all over her face to greet the man.
But her smile gone in a second, and her beaming face dropped into a dissatisfaction. There was Paul, pulling a chair for a young girl. A beautiful one. He pecked the girl's lips before the girl place her ass on the chair.
Geraldyn quickly turned back to her previous position. She squeezed the tissue paper that laid innocently on the table. Her heart was ache to see that finally Paul has found her replacement and moved on. But, hell... She wanted that from Paul a long time ago. She always suggested him to find the other woman who able to love him as he does. Not keep lingering around a bi girl whom used him to vent her sexual desire when she was away from her girlfriend.
But now, when finally he did what she has been told him repeatedly, she felt regret it. She didn't want him to move on from her. At least not now, when she face the miserable life being separated with her lover. She wanted to go to Japan too to meet Sui Liam. But there was Angela who always get into her way whenever she planning to do so.
Without she realized it, a single tear rolled down her cheek. She began to sniffle silently. After a while, she wiped her tears roughly and got up. She walked out, passed by the table where the couple were sitting down. She pretended that she didn't see them, but Paul did.
"Hey, Gerry!" Cried Paul, halted Geraldyn's pace.
Geraldyn turned at him, and forced a smile.
"Hi, Paul? It's been quite some time we never see each other...!" Said Geraldyn.
Paul smiled.
"Well, yeah...! Work and girlfriend took all my timing..!" Said Paul, earned a kick from Xiao Ying under the table.
A thug of pain hit Geraldyn's. Her face pulled into a frown for a while, but then she smiled again and turned to Xiao Ying.
"Well, hi there...? You are a lucky girl to have him. You look so young and wild. Paul loves the kind of girl like you..!" Geraldyn blurted out, make Paul stuned.
"Excuse me?" Xiao Ying furrowed her brows.
"I gotta go. Have something to do! But I'll tell you...! Paul is a good kisser and great in the bed, too!" Said Geraldyn. Then she stormed away to the exit.
Paul was still stuned in dismay, when Xiao Ying looked at him questioningly.
"What was that mean?" Asked Xiao Ying.
"Umm... I got no idea what has gotten into her..." Paul replied.
"She's Geraldyn, right? Your ex girlfriend?" Asked Xiao Ying again..
"Ye-yeah...!"
"I think she is jealous because finally you have me to replace her...!" Xiao Ying crossed her arms in front of her chest.
Paul got back all his senses. He looked at Xiao Ying.
"Don't say like that. Maybe she is desperate now, since her girlfriend being banned from entering the country...!" Said Paul.
"How do you know? Did you meet her secretly behind my back?" Xiao Ying stared at Paul with her sharp eyes.
"No! I didn't meet her privately!" Cried Paul quickly. " Geez... What happen with you, women? Always exaggerating toward something that is not occured...! And I knew it from Yibo..!"
Xiao Ying huffed.
"Don't be jealous. I love you. Anyway Geraldyn is a lesbian...!" Paul tried to comfort his girlfriend.
"She is bi, Paul! She likes both dick and pussy, though she prefered pussy more..!" Xiao Ying snarled under her breathe.
"Shhh... Don't say that in public place... Here a lot children too.." Paul whispered.
Xiao Ying didn't reply. She glared at Paul and huffed.
In the corner of the cafe, there was a single table occupied wit a customer in a black hoodie, wore a pair of black sunglasses, covered the head with a green beanie and the hoodie itself and a black mask took a place on the face. I don't even have any ideas how that fellow drink the drink on the table. From her fingers that had a feminist features, she's a female.
She watched Geraldyn since she entered the cafe and ordered the coffee and pastry, enjoyed them with the old slow music and fresh look. Until the newly couple came and totally ruined her mood.
"You are next..." She hissed behind the mask, pointing a pen she was holding toward the couple's table.
