Katherine's POV:

"Are you ready Katherine?" Jackson peeked through the door of the vanity van and asked.

"Five more minutes please." I replied.

Three years have passed but I still feel apprehensive before the shoot.

I looked at myself for the last time and combed my short hair which was once long and wavy.

Lots of events took placed in three years. All of them made me a different person. I was more calm, decisive, determined and most of all, I had become the person who only follow her mind and had silent her heart for good.

I was then the famous model of Turkey and had signed many shows and had worked with multiple of magazines. Yes, I left California years ago and shifted at my new apartment in Bodrum. I wanted to live alone for some time, distant from everybody whom my old self knew. My family understood me and didn't question twice. Rose and Nova insisted to stay with me but I refused all of them. Jackson, being the stubborn one, came along with me. Actually it came out to be good, because my family became peaceful knowing that there was someone who can take care of me.

I sighed deeply and opened the door to step out. As soon as my feet hit the ground, paparazzi surrounded me.

I posed for them and answered few relevant questions related to my shoot with Burak Mathew, a famous Turkey model.

"This way, Kathie." Jackson guided me. He helped me a lot in those past years. He took control of everything, my personal life and professional life. He decides with whom I'll work and with whom I'll meet. He was like my manager and my most caring friend.

Yes, you're thinking correct. He still had a crush on me.

"Is everything ready? You know its Sunday, I have to reach Golden Orphanage anyhow." I said whilst walking towards the photographer and Burak, who were waiting for me.

"Everything is in place. I've said the driver to load all the gifts which you bought for children. Just relax and please get this thing done first. I really don't like this Burak guy." I laughed on his whining.

"Fine." I said amusingly.

"One by one. If you'll scream and snatch gifts like this then I swear I'll pack everything and take it back." I teased children and earned an even bigger scream after that.

"This little wonder woman is for my angel" I gave the toy to Bella, a six year old girl. She has golden wavy hair, blue eyes and the prettiest smile I've ever seen.

"Thank you." She smiled and ran away to play with other children.

Suddenly I felt someone tugging my shirt. I turned around to see a boy aged somewhere around seven or eight.

"Do you have anything left for me?" He asked thoughtfully.

I looked at my empty hands and then at him. I smiled and sat on my knees. I didn't want to upset him so I took out my favorite moon stone bracelet and placed that on his wrist. He gave me a toothy grin and then kissed my cheeks.

"Thank you. I love it." He admired the bracelet and thanked.

"You're welcome dear. What is your name?" I stroked his hair and asked.

"Darwin." He answered and ran away.

Darwin.

I heard this name after three years but that time, nothing happened. No shivers, no excitement, no smile, no feelings.
