Jaz's POV
Vira is leading us well. She's managed to get us through the factory, avoiding everyone and outside.
She scans the area looking for something, who knows what and gestures for us to follow her. Staying quiet we follow her to a black four wheel drive.
"Hop in." Vira says smirking. I raise a questioning eyebrow. No one speaks and a dark cloud of silence hovers over us.
Amy breaks the silence and opens the passenger door. She jumps in and closes the door.
Vira glances at me. I shrug and jump into the backseat, which is black shiny leather. Jr jones and Maddy jump in after me. Vira jumps into the drivers seat and turns the engine on."Does anyone have a fear of fast, maniac driving?" Vira asks. Dr jones raises her hand.
"That's a shame. Look out the window." Vira points. Dr jones glances out. She doesn't say anything about the men outside with guns. Vira slams the has pedal and starts driving. Only ten kilometres above the speed limit of the road we are now driving on.
"Hey Vira where are we going?" I ask as she swerves around another car which toots at us angrily. I wonder why.
"I don't know. Wherever we can ditch Gary's men behind us and get petrol." She says and yanks the steering wheel to the left. I cringe as I half fall on to Maddy.
"Your kidding right?" Maddy asks. Please say yes. Please say yes.
"No. Of course not." Damn it. "Why would I?" Vira says it like it's not strange. Wow. Just wow.
I groan as Vira swerves to the right and I hit my head on the door. I give Vira a look. She notices in the mirror.
"Sorry but there are cars behind us." Vira says. I look behind us and see Gary's men driving, but slowing down.
"I knew it was worth taking time to empty their petrol tanks." Vira says to no one.
"Well I'm glad you did. Now please slow down to a reasonable speed!" Dr jones begs.
"Ok." Vira says and shrugs as she slows down to the speed limit. Dr jones sighs in relief. I sigh as well, thinking that if there's one thing I will never do again is get into a car to getaway when Vira is driving.
"Hey look! There's a petrol station and subway! Let's stop here." Maddy points out. Vira calmly drives into the station, fuels the car and parks just outside subway.
We all hop out of the car and close the doors. We walk into subway quietly and calmly. Everything is going well so far.
