Chapter 8

Maddy's POV (I think I'll switch between Maddy and Jaz mostly with a bit of the others :))

The place was huge. Just this room at least. It was amazingly huge, with lights in the roof and doors leading off into other rooms. Go up a flight a stairs and there's more doors. A huge map of the world is on the wall. Along with a lot of notes pinned up.

"Where do you think she is?" Vira asks. Jason I'm guessing.

"Probably, war room." He replies. "We're supposed to all meet there anyway. Remember?" Vira doesn't reply and leads the way to a door. The door is opened by Vira.

Inside is a room, with a long desk, a whiteboard and god knows how a projector screen and projector. In one of the chairs, Alice I'm guessing sits. She's very pretty I'll give her that.

"Hello I'm Alice. It's my fault Vira told me everything." She says.
"My conditions for you using this place is to allow me to join. If you don't, you won't ever get out. But it's not my choice it's yours." She says with a smile.

"I have no problems." I say looking at Jaz. She sighs and nods. "Any objections?" No one says anything.

"Great. Welcome to the discussion room." Alice says. "Have a seat." We do.

"I have a question." Dr jones says. She doesn't wait for a reply. "Who are you and why do you want to help us?"

"I have reasons against him. Personal ones." She explains. We wait for her to continue but she doesn't.

"Do you have a leader? Or a council?" Alice asks.

"Yes." Jaz answers. Dr Jones and I don't move. Amy shifts uncomfortably.

"Maddy, Dr Jones and I are it." Jaz states. Oh. I get it. Trust issues.

"Ok. That's fine." Alice says.

"Any questions Alice?" I ask.

"No." She says.

"Show them the place. We'll get our things afterwards." Vira says and gets up. Jason follows her. They leave and we turn to Alice patiently.

"Let's go then." She says and stands up. We follow her out of the discussion room.

"This is the kitchen and dining room." She points to the door next to the discussion room.

"That's the bedrooms. That's the bathroom." She says as we go past doors. She's just pointing at them and not really saying anything but ok.

"Go explore for yourselves. I'm gonna go find Vira." Alice says.

"Meeting in the discussion room in an hour." Jaz says. We all go our separate ways to go check out the place.

Yay double update tonight. I'm bored so I'm on my phone heaps giving me time to go on wattpad.
