Dr jones' POV ~next day btw~
Our plan was to go to the "cemetery" for who knows what, at twelve. We ended up leaving at ten to, parked around twelve exactly and went inside about five past.
"Is it still the same one?" Vira asks Jason.
"Yeah of course. Why wouldn't it be?" He asks. She shrugs. Jaz, Amy, Maddy and I glance awkwardly glance between each other.
"I have a question. Where are we actually going?" I ask.
"Our new HQ." Vira says.
"Which is where?" I ask.
"You'll see. I want to leave it for a surprise." Vira says.
"Is Jason gonna help dr jones in her area? Technology and data analysis. Basically." Maddy asks.
"Something like that." Vira says.
"Here we are." Jason says and kneels in front of a tombstone.
"Two of them don't know about Alice Montreal do they?" Jason asks. Amy and I know, Maddy and Jaz probably don't and their confused expressions say a lot.
"Alice Montreal technically built the place and for her to let us use it, I had to tell her why and let her join. Amy knows her, she's done business with Gary once or twice but not for what you would think. Dr Jones says she'll meet her then decide. What do you two think?" Vira explains. Well. I don't particularly like her not talking to us but it seems like a good idea. I nod. Maddy hesitates before nodding.
"Where is it..." Jason mumbles scanning the tombstone.
"Here lies Alice Montreal." I read aloud. Well then.
"JASON. PRESS THE GOD DAMN LETTERS A.C.E NOW." Vira screams. Jason glares at her but pushes the letters ACE like their buttons.
Suddenly, the grass where the grave is splits in half and reveals a coffin just under the grass. Jason lifts up the lid. The coffin's floor has been halved. Half is a gaping hole with a ladder down into darkness. Which is suddenly now alight and not a gaping hole just a few metres down. Jason jumps into the coffin and sits at the edge. He climbs on the the ladder and begins to climb down. Maddy follows him, I follow Maddy, then Amy then dr jones who isn't happy about it and finally Vira who also closes it up by pressing something while she's on the ladder. Or it's automated. Who knows.
We are now standing at the bottom of the ladder. It's fairly light from the lights in the walls lighting it up.
"Now what?" I ask confused.
"This." Vira says and opens a door, that has just appeared. From nowhere. Oh wow....
We walk through and gasp. Not those small unheard gasps no one cares about, the ones you hear and turn to stare at the gasper because of the pure shock from that gasp.
That place we stood in was the most amazing place I had ever seen.
