Vira's POV

Our way of creating chaos was switching places with a couple of slaves who wanted to get out. We dress as them and covered our faces in dirt. We quickly hurry into the camp and over to the fish scattered on the ground around a huge pile of them. I smile knowing it was the others who did this.

"Hey guys, over here." I say and start heading towards the huge barn.

"What do you intend to do?" Matt asks.

"Something ridiculous and extreme probably." Alice mumbles.

"Yep." I say. "Let's burn this barn." I have an evil smile on my face.

"I don't know. That's a little too extreme." Alice says unsure.

"You wanted to be a rebel. This is how we are gonna show him what we mean." I say. She finally nods.

"Alright. Matt, find some matches. Alice gasoline or petrol. Meet me back here with the stuff while I prepare the place." I explain. They both rush off to grab the stuff to burn the barn.

I grab straw from the hay bales and throw it around the barn. I felt like I was five again throwing straw and hay everywhere. I smile happily at my work.

Just as I finish spreading hay everywhere, Matt comes back with matches.

"How'd you get em?" I ask.

"Friends." He says.

It's not long until Alice comes back with the red container of petrol. She gives it to me. I spread it everywhere.

"Stop right there!" Policemen come. They surround us. I look behind me and notice a ladder going up to a window in the barn wall. I run and climb up it with Matt close behind. Alice is trailing behind.

"Give me the matches!" She yells as she climbs part of the way up the ladder. The policemen are blocking the doorway and getting reinforcements. I think. Either that or their waiting for guns.

"No Alice we can't light the barn we'll all be killed." I say.

"Then just give me the matches. Please." She says.

"Are you sure?" Alice smiles sadly.

"Yes I am." I throw her the matches.

"Run!" She yells and we run up the ladder. She looks back and watches us jump out the window.

"BURN IN HELL GARY!" We hear her scream.

We run away from the barn and duck behind some rocks. We look over the top just as it explodes.

"ALICE!" I screech. Alice is dead. The remains of charred wood rain down. Nothing is left except a blackened area where the barn once stood.

"I'm sorry Vira. There's no way she could of survived." Matt says and rests a hand over my shoulder. I'm not listening though. I see a ring with a small engraved diamond pattern going around the middle, with small tiny like really tiny blue shiny crystals embedded in them. The ring is among the charred wood. It's Alice's. I pick it up and put it on my finger. I stand up sad, angry and happy.

"VIVA LA REBELS. BURN IN HELL GARY!" I scream before Matt and I run away towards the beach. We look back to see if anyone is pursuing us but fortunately no.

We quickly dash on to the beach where Maddy, Jaz and Maddy are standing. They are sort of hidden by some rocks, but I wouldn't have found them if they hadn't told us where they'd be waiting.

Alice died today. But she said something we will remember.
Burn in hell Gary. Viva la rebels.
