As I walked towards Seongwoo's place, the words he said yesterday played back in my mind. So all that talk about following your dreams, when you don't even have one? I sighed, knowing it was true. I didn't have a dream. In Erilea, that wasn't possible. Dreams took you nowhere. I was being hypocritical I knew that, but I could see how much dance had meant to Seongwoo. Seeing him perform, not only yesterday, but the days before when I had seen him, made me see what potential he has. Even though I was just a random girl who can hardly stand on her own two feet, I'd hate for him to give up.I did have a passion though. Drawing. It helped me whenever I was feeling down, whenever I needed my mother. She loved art and drawing herself, so I took it upon myself to learn how to do it. It was the only real connection I had to her. Everything else had been destroyed. It was as if she had never existed, which was exactly what they wanted. No one could know about what happened, so they removed all traces of her, anything that had proved that she had existed. But they couldn't take her away from my mind and my heart.
—Third person POV—
Seongwoo prepared for his 'dance lesson' with Lilliana. He knew she wasn't really into it, but he wanted to teach her, even if it was the basics. He didn't understand how it possible for her not to know how to dance. Dancing was a movement that you felt when you hear music. He thought it was strange that she didn't know, but it was all the more reason to teach her, and perhaps get to know her better. They were not close, but he knew she wouldn't have many friends here. He wanted to know where she was from, and why she was different. The energy he sensed that came out of her when he was with her was foreign... but it was something else as well. He wanted to know what it was.
The door knocked, which meant Lilliana was here already. Seongwoo opened the door, and grinned when he saw her.
"You actually came."
"I know. I'm still in surprise too."
Lilliana's response made him laugh a little. She was very witty, and he enjoyed it.—end of third person POV—
Seongwoo laughed at what I said, which made me raise an eyebrow. I didn't make a joke or anything, so why was he laughing?
"Let's get started." Seongwoo grinned at me. I nodded, and walked over to where he was.
He helped me with all the things I needed to know, and corrected my mistakes.
"You're posture is all wrong." He came over and helped fix it.Perhaps it was only me, but I felt that there was a lot of intimacy in this. My cheeks would burn red every time he placed his hands on my arm, or when his hands touched mine, even though I knew he was only teaching me how to do it properly.
An hour later, Seongwoo decided to call it a day. "You're getting better. You just need to let your body loose. It's not really helpful if you're tense." I knew he was right, but how could I loosen up when some guy was right next to me, touching my hands? I was being stupid, but it was because I wasn't used to this. In Erilea, none of this happened.
I sighed. I had to get over the fact that I wasn't in Erilea anymore. I was in Seoul. They led two different lives.
"Let's go." Seongwoo calls out while putting on a white hoodie over his head.
Confused, I asked, "Go where?"
"To get something to eat. When you dance, you tend to use most of your energy, so you'll be hungry. Come on."
