On the way back to the Sanctuary, Tegan didn't feel so good. She hadn't told Daryl and the guards who watched her at the Sanctuary didn't tell Negan, but she had been throwing up the past couple of days. She assumed it was from the literal dog food they fed her, but now shes not so sure.

When they arrived back at the Sanctuary, Tegan jumped out as fast as she could and ran over to the walker lined fence. Angie saw her and ran to her side to hold her hair out of her face as the vomit came out.

"T, are you okay?" Angie asked once the girl was done.

"I'm fine, it's fine," she mumbled wiping her mouth. Daryl watched from the truck, but wasn't allowed to go to her.

"What's wrong?" Negan asked his little sister.

"It's probably from the dog food you have been feeding me, you piece of shit," Tegan snarled.

"You have to see Dr. Carson," Negan told her. Tegan nodded as she could feel her knees wobbling underneath her. Angie helped her friend down the medical wing, following Dwight's lead.

"Hello, Tegan. How can I help you today?" The tall thin doctor asked.

"I've been throwing up a lot and just haven't felt well," Tegan told him as she sat on the hospital bed.

"Any other pains?" He asked.

"My boobs have been a little sore," she mumbled. Angie looked up at her friend, already knowing where this was going. Tegan was oblivious.

"Are you sexually active?" Dr. Carson asked making Tegan scrunch her nose.

"Yes," Tegan nodded while thinking of all those times her and Daryl were connected to each other.

"When was your last period?" He asked.

"About 8 weeks ago, I think. You think this could be period issues?" she asked rubbing her hands together nervously.

"Something like that. Here go into the bathroom and use this," He said handing her a little white stick with a pink end.

"Wait, you can't be serious. I can't be pregnant," she scoffed going to hand him back the test.

"Just take it so we can be sure," Angie encouraged. She already knew the outcome of this. Angie knew the couple didn't use protection ever and Daryl apparently had no pull out game at all.

"Fine, but y'all are crazy to think that," Tegan chuckled walking the short distance to the bathroom. A few minutes later she came out and set the stick down on the tray. In her head she knew they were right, but part of her didn't want to believe it. Part of her couldn't.

"See, wasn't hard! Now we wait," Angie said patting her friends knee. They waited a few more minutes before Dr. Carson picked up the test.

"Congratulations, Tegan. You are going to be a mother," he smiled. Tegan's jaw dropped and her heart started pounding. A brand new mother in the zombie apocalypse was not something she aspired to be.

"T! That's great news!" Angie said. Although she knew how scary it must be to be pregnant in this world. What happened if she lost baby? Would it turn inside her? What if the baby was fine, but during birth, Tegan didn't make it? How would Daryl handle that? What if a walker got to the baby one day? There were a lot of what if's in this situation, but wasn't there always?

"I-I don't k-know what to say," Tegan stuttered trying to stand up. "I think I need to go out-" Before she could finish everything went black and she fell.

"Oh my God! Tegan!" Angie yelled. Dwight burst through the door. "Go get Negan!"

"I can't leave," Dwight stated.
