Angie pulled the gates open for the Saviors. Negan made sure to give her his award winning smile as a thank you. A smile that only a few years ago would've made her cream her pants as soon as look at it, but now all she could see was the murderous man he had become. How was she going to go through with this?
"Where's Rick?" Negan asked her as she stepped to the side to let them all in. Angie froze, her mouth agape slightly. "What's wrong, princess? Shocked by amazing good looks? It's okay, most woman are. Just ask my wives."
'Come on, Ang. Say something. Anything!' she thought to herself.
"Wives?" Was all she could spit out.
"Six to be exact. Maybe you will get to join them one day," he said with a wink. A blush creeped its way up her face.
'Don't fall for his charm, Ang.' She thought to herself.
"Negan!" Rick called running towards them.
"Ah! The man of the hour! How are ya Rick?" Negan asked, placing a hand on his shoulder as he got closer.
"All your stuff is packed," Rick told him. Daryl and Tegan were pulled out of their vehicles to help load everything up. They glanced over at each other and nodded, telling each other they were okay.
"Tegan," Angie whispered, looking at her friend. She didn't look healthy. Her eyes were darker and she had been crying. A lot.
"Daryl," Rick said to the dark haired man. Negan got in front of the pair.
"No talking to the help," Negan warned them both. "Now, Rick, we take whatever I say we take. Half is what I say it is. Whatever you have set aside for us, is not enough!" Rick glared up at Negan, giving him the 'I'm going to kill you look'. The 'Not Today, Not Tomorrow, Not Today, Not Tomorrow, But I Will Kill You' look. "Now, now Rick. What did I say about that look you give me. Are you trying to get Daryl killed today? I can tell he's your right hand man, right? We all need one of those. Simon is mine!"
Tegan looked towards Daryl who watched Negan intently. Rick needed to be more careful. If he got Daryl killed Tegan would kill Rick first and then Negan.
"Sorry," Rick muttered looking down at his feet.
"I know you want Daryl back. I'll give him the chance! He just has to say one little thing. Who are you?" Negan asked turning towards Daryl. Tegan knew what Negan wanted Daryl to say. She also knew Daryl would never say it. Part of her wished he would just suck it up, swallow his pride, say it, and stay here at Alexandria. The other part of her didn't want him to fall into Negan's trap. Daryl was not Negan. He would never be Negan. He would die before he became Negan.
"Daryl," Daryl grunted. Negan's tongue pressed to the inside of his teeth and made a sucking sound.
"Sorry Rick. Looks like he doesn't love you after all," Negan laughed. "Start loading the trucks!" Everyone started going towards the houses, taking anything and everything they wanted.
Angie knew it was time. She needed to make her move now. Negan was standing alone with Rick. She felt awful, though. She didn't want Rick to think she was betraying them. Taking a deep breath she walked up to the man himself.
"Negan," she croaked. He turned and looked down at her.
"Hello there, princess. You know you look so familiar. Don't I know you from somewhere? Have we fucked before?" He asked her. His bright white teeth flashing through his pink lips covered in black and white specks of hair. Rick turned to them and clenched his fist tight.
"Uh, yeah. Well, no! I am we didn't fuck, but you do know me. I'm Tegan's good friend from before this. I use to hang out with her a lot," Angie said trying to become more confident. Fang and Impala looked up at Negan.
