Chapter Twenty-One: Interruptions
Rhett is the one on the left in the gif. He is part of the YouTube duo, Good Mythical Morning, with his best friend Link! If any of you guys like short, interesting videos, I recommend them to you!

The kiss that was once passionate and romantic, turns more heated and needed. I run my hand through his hair, loving the feeling of the strands of his dark brown hair between my fingers. I wrap my legs around his waist, letting my hands travel down the front of his black shirt. I tug on the hem of the shirt, and feel as he releases his hands from my waist. He removes his shirt, thus causing the kiss to be broken for only a short moment.
Taking advantage of him sitting up, I too pull myself up to his level and bring our lips together again. My hands land on his shoulders, slowly tracing down his skin that feels like burning coals beneath my fingertips and palms. I swing my leg over him, straddling his lap as the kiss continues. As I feel his hands glide up and explore my back again, a harsh knocking is heard from the front door. I break away from Mark almost immediately, but I literally have to untangle myself from him. He lets out a sigh, running a hand over his face as I, reluctantly, get off of Mark, and the sofa, and head over to the door.
I catch sight of myself in a mirror on the way to the door, so I take a few seconds to fix myself up. I run a hand through my hair, pulling my top fully over my pyjama trousers. When I decide that I look reasonable enough, even if my cheeks are flushed red from the intensity of the situation and the interruption, I reach for the door and open it. Rhett barges in, a grin on his face.
“Hey- oh, did I interrupt something?” He asks, both of his eyebrows shooting up when he notices that Mark is shirtless and that both of us are, probably, looking flustered. I place a hand on my hip, raising my own eyebrow. My cheeks are flushing pink even more, feeling extremely embarrassed at the fact that I got caught.
“This better be important, Rhett.” I tell him firmly, catching sight of Mark pulling his shirt back on in the corner of my eye. He smiles cockily now, folding his arms over his chest in a cocky manner also.
“Oh, so I did interrupt something. Interesting,” Rhett says, leaning away from the doorframe and looking behind him. I peer around the door, noticing two casual-looking men, each of which I don’t recognise, looking slightly awkward. “Well, you know how I said I was doing a YouTuber’s react? I told these guys about you and Mark and they want you involved in one of their videos. It won’t be the same as the one me and Link were in, though, as that’s all been recorded.” Rhett explains, and I think over this for a moment.
“Where is it being filmed?” I ask, my tone clearly indicating that I am curious. One of the men, one in a white beanie, hands over a slip of card to me. I hold it in my hand, but I can’t read it. “Mark, gimme my glasses,” I say, smiling childishly at Mark. He reaches for the table, throwing me the case. “Thankies.” I say catching the case in the hand that isn’t holding the strip of card. After pulling my glasses on, I read the address quickly.
“It will be taking place tomorrow at two in the afternoon. Is that good?” Asks the guy with glasses. I shrug, turning to Mark.
