Michael let out a slight grunt in response as he went towards the front door of his place, "hey! You should come over for dinner tonight! Or lunch?" The hazel eyed man grinned as he peeled the gloves off of his hands, "I'll just pack up all my paints and then you can come over in like thirty?"
"Yeah, fine." Michael huffed out, all he wanted was some alone time so he could reboot and not stress over putting on different personas. Rubbing his face slightly, he let out a frustrated sound as he pushed his back against the door from the inside.
Silence filled the house as green eyes danced around the hallway, the dark floorboards that ran throughout the entire hallway was hidden by a thick red carpet. The walls held similar artwork to what was featured in their office, making his way down the hallway; he noticed the ongoing theme of red throughout the house.
The kitchen counters were a bright red causing a subtle clash with the black of the fridge and splash back, the kitchen flowed through to the dining room which held a large black wooden table in the centre with eight seats surrounding it; the walls were painted a dark red, creating an eerie feeling within the room. Michael enjoyed the darkness that crept throughout the house the colours that would often place an unsettling feeling in the pit of people's stomach; brought a welcoming and calm feeling to the hitman.
Quiet ticking filled the silence as his attention was brought to the grandfather clock that stood proudly opposite the fireplace in the living room, the black leather couches seemed to absorb all the light in the room as the only thing that wasn't a dark colour was the white of the rug underneath the glass coffee table.
Glancing towards the clock he noticed the window beside it allowing him to look directly into the hazel eyed man's house, a look of disgust painted across his face as he drew the black curtains to block all life from the outside.
The clock chimed twelve, causing a sigh to escape his lips as Sekiro made her way to the door only to be picked up by boney fingers. "Are you sure you want to come with me to that weirdo's house? You're safe here and I'll be safe as well." the snake froze as if thinking through her next decision.
"It's okay, you're safe and so am I." Michael reassured the snake who appeared to be stressing over the situation, a gentle hiss was given in response creating a small smile on the man's face. "I know, I'll be fine." The black haired man, ran his fingers down the snake's back gently as she slithered onto the cabinet beside the front door.
"I'll get you some plants when I go out." Michael called back as he exited the house with keys in hand, there was something off putting about Ashton's friendliness but the hitman new better than to cause someone to become suspicious of himself.
Knuckles cracked against the white wooden door as he waited for the cheery man to open it, no more than thirty seconds later the door was opened by the shorter male; a bright smile was on his face like always as he welcomed the darkly dressed man into his home.
Green eyes flickered around the room as he almost gagged at how clean the house was, the strong stench of bleach hit his nose like a freight train as the entire house was nothing but white. The only colour change was the slight grey that trailed through the marble flooring, there was no television found as that would create more colours within the house.
Ashton was a neat freak that much was obvious, nothing was allowed to have colour other than the curly haired man who even then only dressed in plain colours. Something was off about this man but Michael didn't see any importance to it.
"So, this is my place, welcome! I have prepared us a lovely meal, it's Blanquette of veal. I hope you aren't vegan, that would be a terrible mistake, I really should've checked first." Ashton rambled as he set the plates up on either side of the table.
