"Hey, Dante! Good to see ya back, kid. How's it been?" The loud voice of the bouncer greeted them as the family got out of the car, Michael's face lit up like a child on Christmas Day.
"Squip!" a grin spread across the black haired male's face as he ran to embrace his childhood friend. Squip was a few years younger than Louis' yet his receding hairline and beer gut made him look older than the younger male's parents, the large man was like an uncle to Michael; he taught him how to box and speak three different languages.
"How ya been?" the thick German accent smothered the younger man as he marveled at how the accent failed to leave him after twenty years of being in England.
"Good! Better now that I can see my favourite uncle, don't tell Q that though." The loud belly laugh caused Michael's smile to widen as he hugged the brown haired man tightly, "how's it been here?"
"Same as always. Nothin' special." Squip gave him a toothy grin as the few gold teeth caught the younger man's eyes.
"What happened to your teeth? Get punched?"
"Just the job, that's how it be sometimes Dante."
Michael opened his mouth to continue before getting cut off by Louis' angered roar. "Michael. My office. Now!" the loud voice created silence in the normally loud pub as all heads turned to the green eyed man who scurried to his father figures office.
A pitiful look was sent in his direction as Harry sat outside of the office, ready to calm down his husband when needed. "Louis, what-" Michael's thoughts were cut off as he looked around the destroyed office, papers were scattered everywhere, the drawers from his desk were snapped and discarded around the room. The paintings were ripped and lying on the floor.
"It's one thing for you to stay here but why the fuck is my office being destroyed while I'm out." the low growl caused a lump to form in Michael's throat as he tried to process everything that had happened. "Now, I don't give a shit about all this." Louis spoke as he stomped on a few papers before kicking a drawer.
"But they destroyed my paintings." the vicious snarl scared the black haired man more than the hand that gripped his throat. "They injured one of my fucking dogs. What would have happened if Harry was left here because he wanted to work on a few things before the party? What if I hadn't of made Harry come with us."
Michael gasped for air as he clawed at the older male's arm, "please, Louis, it wasn't me."
"I fucking know that. You were with us. But why is it that my office gets fucking destroyed as soon as you step foot in this fucking town." Louis' grip tightened as he watched the tears of pain slip from frightened green eyes, "you always fucking do this. You always cause trouble wherever you fucking go."
A slender hand wrapped around the angered man's bicep as Harry let his fingers trace patterns over his arm, whispering softly into the blue eyed man's ear. "It's okay Lou, let him go." red nails ran through his husband's feathery hair, trying to calm the male down enough to let go of their cub.
Louis' grip loosened enough for Michael to wiggle out of his grip and run out of the room. "You need to calm down. It's not his fault."
Michael listened as the couple started the same screaming match that always occurred whenever he fucked something up, Harry always took the blame for him; no matter how badly he fucked up, the curly haired man was always there to defend him.
Green eyes were squeezed tight as he pushed himself further under the table, the familiar feeling of his chest tightening and his body shaking made him realise he was close to having a panic attack. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he tried his best to calm down.
