Sun streamed through the light blue curtains as the brunet rolled onto his stomach in an attempt to stop the bright light from waking him up completely, the navy blue blanket was pulled over his head as he struggled to fall back asleep.

"God, you're lazy." the harsh grumble filled the room as the blond tore open the curtains, letting the sun flood the obscenely large bedroom. Calloused hands gripped the blankets only to rip them off the small brunet's body and dropping them onto the floor.

"Fuck off, Lu." Calum grumbled as he slammed his face into the pillow while curling into a ball to try and contain some warmth. Blue eyes rolled in annoyance as he opened the young man's wardrobe, looking at all the different black and white shirts.

"You could wear other colours. Kind of stealing my pallet with all this black and white."

"Whatcha gonna do if I am?" The quiet mumble was heard in response as the brunet finally sat up on the bed. His eyes ran shamelessly across Luke's body, he was always amazed by the amount of strength his friend even though he looked like a string bean when he wasn't in his suit.

"I'll kick your arse."

"Doubt it! I could totally take you on! No doubt." Calum grinned as he joined Luke in front of his closet before pulling out a white asymmetrical button up with outlines of faces on it and a pair of jeans. "Besides, I rock the black and white aesthetic way better than you ever could."

"Cal. I can pick you up with one hand." Luke spoke calmly as he untied his tie slightly, it was the one part of the uniform he had hated.

"Lu, can you wear casual clothes today? I want to go shopping but it just draws more attention when you wear your suit." The young man pleaded as his doe-like eyes stared into the oceans that were trapped in Luke's.

"I'm required to wear the suit. You know that, Calum." Luke warned, tired of the argument they had each time Calum wanted to go out in public.

"But just this once?" The pout on the brunet's face was enough to make the bodyguard falter only to shake his head. "Well, can you at least lose the tie and jacket and unbutton it a bit?" the brunet's eyes were wide as he tried to convince his friend to not make them stand out more than they already did.

He knew his parents wouldn't care if he went into town for the day; hell, they wouldn't care if he left the country as long as he didn't end up spread across the media for something stupid he had done. His parents were big names in parliament which of course forced Calum into the spotlight as well: he wasn't opposed to the spotlight, the only downside was how the media enjoyed twisting the story to make him look like a horrible person.

The blond rested his hand on the younger male's shoulder, blue eyes flickering with concern as he noticed the sad expression on his friend's face. "What are we doing today? Just the shops? If we go anywhere else I am inclined to tell your parents." Luke's calming tone helped to ease the tension that was building in Calum's shoulders.

"Yeah whatever, they don't care either way." He muttered, fingers pulling at his hair slightly as he followed the blond out of his house; unaware that Luke had removed the tie as Calum had asked.

Luke pulled the sunglasses over his eyes as he opened the car door for the sad male, he knew there was realistically only one place he could take the brunet but it would require him to contact Calum's parents who do not enjoy being interrupted outside of work let alone during work hours.

Sliding into the driver's seat carefully, putting the key in the ignition; the blond took one last look at his friend before pulling out of their driveway. "You alright, Cal?" the bodyguard spoke cautiously in hopes of keeping the brunet from retaliating.
