Oscar's POV:
I get a phone call and I walk away from the Santos. Of course they'd want to start drinking and parting the second we got back here. "Hey, I need you." Eva says over the phone. "Where are you?" I ask quickly. "Monse's." She tells me. "Hey guys I'll be right back I gotta help out Crazy Eyes' sister. I cross the street and go into Monse's house. "Is he dead?" I ask right away. She wouldn't kill anyone. "He's breathing you idiot." She's tougher than I thought. She puts her gun in her waistband and pulls her shirt over it. "You took this pretty far." I say. "It isn't personal, I wanted to send Rashad a message." She sounds confident. "I'm telling Cesar to go to the house in an hour, he should probably know about all of this." She tells me. She handled this better than I would've at sixteen. She knows what she's doing. Cesar's going to kill me for this. "You did a good job... Sad Eyes." I tell her with a smile. "You serious?" She looks excited. "That was your mom's-" She cuts me off. "My mom's name, yeah I know." Of course she does, she only heard about her mom every five minutes after Crazy Eyes died. "So what now?" She asks. She didn't think this through. That could be a problem. "Now, we make sure he stays passed out long enough to us to drop him on Rashad's lawn." I explain. "Let's do this." She nods. "Throw his arm over your shoulder, make it look like he's drunk." I tell her. "You've done this before?" She asks. "A few times." I shrug. "Here." I open the door and we throw him in. "You can drive." I toss her the keys. "Seriously?" She asks. "You started this, you can finish it." I tell her. I get in the car. She looks nervous. "You got this." I tell her. "I know." She smiles before she speeds even faster than I do. Before I know it we pull up to Rashad's. "I'll help you." I tell her. We both get out of the car. "Let's do this quick if they see us we're both dead." I whisper. "What the hell?" Jesús mumbles. ZzzzZa drag him out and throw him as quickly as we can. "Let's go now!" I laugh. She gets in and starts driving before I can even get in the car all the way. "You're crazy kid." I laugh. "Thanks." She says. When we get back to the house I don't get out of the car right away. "You know you still have to get jumped in, right?" I ask her. "Yeah." She doesn't even sound nervous. "We won't pull the same shit that the prophets pulled with Jesús... pretty sure they tried to kill him." I laugh. "Bring it on." She says. "When?" She asks me. "Now." I tell Eva. "Ok, get the guys and let's go." She says. "Eva this isn't just some easy thing." I don't know why I'm trying to talk her out of it. "Let's do this." She says.
Eva's POV:
We pull up to an alley and I can tell Oscar's nervous. "I'll be fine." I laugh. "Ok guys, take it easy on her." He says. Is he serious? They better not take it easy on me. I look at the five guys who are about to beat the shit out of me and I get ready to fight back. "Are you guys going to start or what?" I ask. They all look like they feel bad. "Well ok then." I smile. I look Julio dead in the eye and I punch him. That should get all of this started. I get punched in the stomach and now I'm realizing I was way too excited for this. Shit this hurts but as soon as it starts it's over. I look at the guys and apparently I was fighting back a little harder than I thought. "Get up." Oscar says. "Sorry guys, didn't mean to do all that." I say as I get up. "So who's telling Cesar?" I ask them. "How are you still talking?" One of the Santos, Santiago, asks me. "Don't listen to him, he cried when he got jumped in." Oscar says when we get back in the car.
We get back to the house and I go straight for the painkillers. "Don't worry, it only gets worse." Julio laughs. They all start drinking and I'm still struggling with this damn bottle. "Just get over here." Oscar says as he walks towards me. "It was Cesar." He informs me. "Did you just answer my phone?" I ask him and he shrugs. Cesar walks in and he looks around. "Think he notices there's more people?" I try to laugh but God this hurts. "Guess who just got jumped in." Oscar laughs. "You didn't." Cesar sounds worried. "They did." I say while I try again with this damn bottle of painkillers. "We knew you wouldn't want to be there." Julio shrugs. "You should've asked me." Cesar tells Oscar. "Relax, she did something none of us even thought of doing!" Oscar says. "What did you do?" He asks. I know he's going to be mad but there's not much I can do about it now. If anything I did him a favor. "Can you open this?" I ask, handing him the pill bottle so I can tell him what I did. "You fought back, nice." He says when he sees my bruised knuckles. "I may or may not have knocked Jesús out and Oscar might've helped me throw him in front of Rashad's house." I tell him while I try and hold back laughter. "Eva." He's definitely not happy that I'm laughing about this. God he doesn't have to be so serious all the time. "What the hell are we going to do? You have no idea what you just started." He shakes his head. He's pissed but at least Rashad's going to get the message
