Chinmoku was originally written in 2019, this is an updated version.
The chapters are not all updated yet.
chinmoku contains mature themes such as swearing, ableism, homophobia, bullying and mild violence.
it is not made for younger audiences.
i am from a HOH household and wanted to write about a deaf character as genuinely as possible. after becoming closer to the community, some changes have been made to tackle this better.
There is ASL described throughout. They are words and phrases I was taught. I do not claim to teach, but I highly advocate for learning.
this version does not focus on the original characters from the first version as much. sorry if you enjoyed their plot, re-readers. Although they are important, removing some chunks of their story helps strengthen the main one and gives more clarity.
