This dream was very different from the ones Randel had before.
He looked around, only seeing a light grey colour as far as the eye could see.
"Okay... I know you're here," He spoke, his voice echoing all around him, "now, come out!"
A series of demonic laughing echoed throughout the area, making Randel take in a sharp breath as he turned around.
Still nothing.
"This isn't funny anymore!" He shouted as the laughing subsided.
"Oh Randel, catching on so quickly?"
Randel turned around, only to see the creature that resembled him fade in to existence.
"Before you ask me, no."
The creature did not reply, instead taking a step towards Randel.
"Oh, you might say that now, but... I just want to ask you somethings."
It stopped right in front of Randel, staring at him with its grey eyes.
"Tell me... who were you meant to be?"
Randel shivered.
"W-what do you mean?"
"You know exactly what I mean. Where you created to be someone loving and caring, or to be someone like me, only caring about yourself?"
"W-what are you getting at?"
The creature tilted its head.
"I'm just showing you something that you're denying, Randel. You see..."
It grinned.
"You deny the truth. You deny it because of those pretty lies that Ringo made you believe. Am I correct?"
Randel took a step back.
"I... I-I..."
"Okay, just answer my first question."
"U-uh... I... um..."
The creature crossed its arms.
"I'm waiting."
"I... I w-was... m-meant to..."
Randel turned his head away from the creature, closing his eyes as he spoke quickly.
"Be like you."
"Ah, yes," the creature spoke softly, "about time you admit it."
"A-anyway..." Randel started, turning his head back to the creature and opening his eyes, "w-what do you want this time?"
The creature smiled.
"I just want to make some things clear to you. Now, you were meant to be like me, someone who only cares for himself and is willing to fight others to make sure he maintains his rightful, superior place in the world, like..."
It gestured to the black sun on its tie.
"Being the ruler, as others would put it, of Pepperland. Like how we both once were..."
It snarled.
"Until that little petty Beatle ruined it for us."
"S-shut-"
"STAY QUIET," the creature stated in a loud voice.
Randel closed his mouth instantly.
"Now, tell me, you'd rather be a normal person who believes in the lies of love and happiness rather than someone with power over everything and is able to do whatever he wants?"
The creature stepped forward again.
"I mean, there must still be some of your old self in you. In fact..."
It smiled.
"I think there is."
Randel opened his mouth to respond, but he stopped himself.
"I mean, I still remember when you attacked him without needing me to tell you to."
"T-that..."
Randel stepped back, closing his eyes.
"I think that there's a part of you that I still like, Randel."
Tears began to form in Randel's eyes as he opened them.
"Y-you... I..."
The creature stretched its arm out.
"You know who you really are. Now, join me and become who you were meant to be."
Randel's entire body shook as his mouth hung open, his hand trembling as he slowly raised it.
"This way, they'll all be alive. Come on, you know this this is meant to be."
Randel blinked several times, breath heavy as he slowly reached his arm out.
He closed his eyes.
Suddenly, he pulled his arm back, letting it fall to his side.
"N-no... He... he w-wouldn't w-want..."
The creature pulled its arm back as well, tilting his head.
"Oh... So be like that then. Deny the truth."
Randel lowered his head town, tears streaming down his face as he squinted his eyes shut.
"But, remember this."
The environment around the both of them began to fade into nothingness, and the creature's voice grew faint.
"I know what your weakness is."

Randel slowly opened his eyes as he laid on his side.
Shaking his head, he sat up and looked around him, seeing that there was no one else awake.
Sighing, he laid back down, paying to attention to the sleeping drummer next to him.
Tears began to form his his eyes again, and he felt no need to go back to sleep.
"I... I'm n-not even sure... w-who I am a-anymore..."
His words were soft and quiet, and he rolled onto his side and curled up into the fetal position.
Randel began to sob.
