Randel sighed as he rested his head on top of Ringo's chest, the drummer lying on the ground has he stared at the setting sun.

Ringo put an arm around Randel, taking in a deep breath.

"Is there... anything you want to do?" Ringo asked after a moment.

Randel thought for a moment, staring at the sunset, the horiaon turning into a colourful display of yellow, pink, and orange.

"Um... I do have one thing," He aid after a moment, keeping his gaze focused on the sunset.

"What is it?" Ringo asked softly.

"Just... walk."

Slowly, Randel rolled off of Ringo, sitting up on the ground as he looked around him.

Butterlies flew around without a care in the world.

Birds flew high in the sky, their song echoing throughout the area.

The yellow submarine was once again resting on top of the pyramid structure in the distance, as if nothing had happened to it.

The mountains stood tall and proud, now having returned to their full height.

Pepperland was back to normal now, and Randel could now be sure that it would remain fine forever.

Randel looked down at Ringo, a small smile appearing on his face.

"I uh, just want to do something calming now, so... you want to... do it as well?"

Smiling, Ringo sat up, keeping his gaze locked on Randel.

"In fact, I was actually thinking about doing that as well," He said, slowly standing up.

Randel stood up as well, returning his gaze to the sunset.

"I was thinking about... walking into the..."

He blushed a little as he paused.

"Sunset."

Ringo chuckled a little, putting an arm around Randel, causing him to turn his head to face him.

"You don't have to be shy Randel. I get it."

That only made Randel's blush grow in intensity, and his head lowered down a little, his gaze focusing on the ground.

"I... uh..."

Placing his hand under Randel's chin, Ringo turned his head up, placing a small kiss on Randel's lips, making Randel widen his eyes.

Pulling away, Ringo chuckled again, raising his hand to Randel's cheek.

"It's fine. I get why you're shy."

Randel giggled a little, both he and Ringo turning to face the sunset, Ringo pulling his arm off of him in the process.

"Sure is beautiful, isn't it?" Randel asked after a moment.

"It is," Ringo replied, watching as the remaining visible half of the sun slowly sunk under the horizon.

"Well..." Randel started, "Ringo, I... I don't know how we... managed to deal with... well, everything we've been through."

Ringo turned his head over to Randel.

"Yes?"

"I mean... first time we saw each other, I couldn't have imagined something like... this ever happening. And, Now that I think about it..."

Randel turned his head over to Ringo.

"We both stopped a war with the blue meanies, you gave me the confidence I needed to overcome that creature's grip on me, and I..."

He paused.

"I... risked my own life for all of you."

Ringo tilted his head a little, smiling as Randel continued.

"I just, don't know how we were able to do all of that. But, I am very thankful that we did, because if either of us failed once, then... things would have been different."

Randel opened his mouth again to talk, but Ringo cut him off before he could speak, leaning in and joining with Randel in a kiss much deeper than the first, closing his eyes in the process.

Randel closed his eyes slowly, blush growing redder as he felt Ringo's arms wrap around him, one landing on his head.

He did the same.

For a moment, they both stood there, still as they both took pleasure in the kiss, not caring as to who could possibly see them.

Eventually, Ringo pulled away, panting as he opened his eyes.

Randel kept his closed, panting as well as they both slowly took their arms off of each other.

Randel opened his eyes, smiling widely.

"T-Thank you."

"You're welcome."

The two held out a hand to each other, both grabbing the other's as they turned to face the sunset.

"Well Randel, from this point onward, I can safely say that our lives will be great," Ringo said.

"So can I," Randel replied.

The two began to walk.

"I love you Randel, and I always will, no matter what happens," Ringo said.

Randel turned his head over to the drummer, their hands still in each other's grasp.

In that moment, Randel knew that their love could never be broken.

"I love you too Ringo."

He paused.

"Forever."

Turning his head back to face the sunset, Randel continued to walk with Ringo, both looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together.
