Randel yawned as he woke up from his nap, his head resting on Ringo's lap as the drummer looked out at the starry night sky.

If Ringo hadn't known that the liquid was rising before, he'd certainly know now.

A sad sigh escaped his lips as he stared down at Randel, who just stared up back at him, secretly thankful that the creature wasn't in his dream this time.

Stretching, Randel looked out at the sight just a little bit away, noticing the fact that they were still both half up the hill.

"Um... that... t-thing didn't come back, did it?" He asked, nervously.

"No," Ringo replied, looking around for reassurance.

Slowly, Randel moved off of Ringo and sat next to him, feeling the Beatle wrapping an arm around him to pull him closer.

"W-what... What do we do?" Randel asked after a moment.

Ringo shook his head, turning his head downwards.

"I... Don't know, but..."

He turned his head towards Randel.

"We... have to think of something... soon..."

Randel turned his head away from him, too nervous to look at Ringo.

The extremely uneasy feeling that was slowly forming within him had grown since the events earlier in the day, and he didn't like it at all.

But, no matter what he did, he couldn't stop thinking about what the creature had said.

As much as he hated to admit it, Randel knew that he had become someone who he was never meant to be.

Not only that, but the last words that the creature said in that dream made him shiver.

I know what your weakness is.

Randel closed his eyes and took in a breath, trying to calm himself.

"Ay... Ringo?" he asked quietly, turning his head toward him.

Ringo, keeping his gaze on the ground, replied.

"What?"

"I-"

Randel stopped instantly and took in a sharp breath.

Ringo raised his head up, only to see that Randel was looking to his left, gaze focused on the ocean of black, its waves still crashing and echoing all around them.

The drummer's eyes widened as he saw the figure fly over to a spot to their far left, stopping in mid air above the liquid, hovering just inches above it.

For a moment, no one spoke.

Eventually, Randel turned his head away from the creature in the distance.

"I don't care that you can hear us."

The creature didn't reply, instead crossing its arms silently.

Ringo turned his head away as well, looking back down at the ground.

"J-just ignore it. I could care less about what it want now."

Randel sighed, wrapping an arms around Ringo.

"Um... Ringo?" He asked in a quiet voice.

"Yeah?"

"I... It's just..."

Randel turned his head away from Ringo and closed his eyes.

"A-are you sure that... it i-is better to just let... that consume us rather t-than... um..."

He took in a breath.

"I m-mean... I want them all t-to come back to l-life and... h-have e-everything else restored, b-but... I..."

His lips quivered.

"I j-just... I c-can't hurt you all... e-especially you..."

He sniffled.

"It's just that... I... I..."

Randel closed his eyes and buried his face in Ringo's shoulder.

"I d-don't know what to d-do..."

Ringo stayed silent, patting Randel's head.

"I k-know that... t-things seem b-bad now... but..."

He stopped when Randel's body started to shake.

"I... I r-really love you... m-more than anything e-else I've seen..."

"M-me too..."

Ringo closed his eyes, feeling Randel's grasp tighten on him.

"I j-just wish that things d-didn't have to come t-to this..."

Randel stilled himself as he calmed himself down.

For a moment, the two held onto each other, eyes closed.

It was only when the creature started chuckling in the distance that Ringo opened his eyes and moved his head to the left, glaring at it as he kept his arms around Randel.

"What are you laughing at?"

"Oh, two things..."

Even from his position, Ringo could see a grin forming on the creature's face.

Randel lifted his head and stared at the creature as well.

"One... at how kind and caring you two are to each other. I'll never understand that, but I must say, it certainly makes what's about to happen even more funny to me."

Randel's heart seemed to freeze.

"W-what are you..."

He stopped instantly as he heard the sound the liquid rushing in the distance.

Ringo turned his gaze in front of them, not knowing what the creature meant.

The Beatle gasped, eyes going wide.

The creature smiled widely.

"And two..."

It chuckled.

"I really want to see what you two do about this."
