(This is now Kol's POV just letting all of you know.)

Kol POV

I watched the crescent moon over my head. I was sitting on the balcony watching the other vampires partying. I watched my wrist watch waiting for it to strike twelve.

As soon as it was 11:59 I headed towards Rain's window which was connected to the balcony of course. I tapped it four times softly with my knuckles.

The window clicked after about 15 seconds and slid up revealing Rain.

"Kol." She said smiling widely. I smirked a little grabbing her hand bringing her out into the darkness.

When her foot arrived on the balcony I held her hand walking her towards a hidden part of the balcony.

"Rain, sit down, I insist." I told her watching her sit down beside me, our backs against the walls.

"So what's the plan?" She said looking into my eyes.

"What's the plan?" I said laughing a little. Her facial expression dropped severely. "I don't have all day to plan a plan." I said laughing again at repetitive plan.

"So I brought you up here so we can plan a plan." I said smiling with my mouth closed.

I watched her nod quickly. "I was thinking, since I can't leave you at your home I would have to take you away. I didn't want to make this against your will but I can't bring you anywhere else, Rain." I told her.

I watched her eyes began to water, I could tell she just figured out she officially ruined her future by one stupid move.

"Rain, I can't stay with you either, as much as I would love to, my brother would know." I told her feeling bad for not being able to be with her.

"I'm so stupid." She said tears tearing down her face. "Why did I do this?" She said putting her hands over her eyes. I wrapped my arms around her holding her for a moment.

"Rain, listen to me, you're going to be fine." I told her holding on and then letting go. "Stop crying we need to talk." I said. "Okay where am I going to go then?" She said laughing a little. "I can't go anywhere!" She yelled laughing a little at the same time.

"Rain, I'm bringing you to Virginia, Damon will protect you with Bren." I told her.

I could tell she was happy with this comment, being with her friend would the best for her.

"Now listen, I will visit you once a month when I get a chance. I will be bringing you there next week, I already talked to Damon about it." I said.I didn't want to leave her but where will I be able to bring her?

Rain started smiling with a red tear stained face. "Thank you Kol." She said hugging me tightly. "Now lets get you to bed." I said smiling holding her hand getting her to her feet.

After she climbed through the window I told her goodnight and waved goodbye, locking the window as I left.

Rain POV

As I finished up getting dressed for bed at 1:00 in the morning I looked at the note again tucked under my pillow. I ran my fingers over the indent of the pen and then put it back under the pillow.

I turned off the lamp with my hand and then tucked myself into bed. I felt movement out of the corner of my eye as I attempted to fall asleep.

I pulled my head up a little and saw nothing so I put it back down. I felt the bed move as a figure sat down on it. I started breathing heavily in and out hoping it was just Kol or Klaus.

My heart began to beat extremely fast and out of control. I felt the person bring their hand towards my face an brush the hair away from my eyes. I squeezed them shut hoping I looked asleep.

I felt them leaning in closer and then a scream hurdling pain squeezing my way up my neck. I jumped up and started yelling in torture the pain wouldn't stop. I was hoping the yelling would awake someone.

My neck burned and the pain was so unreal. I started crying heavily and I was beginning to feel weak and dizzy. I was starting to fall over a little from my sitting position as I heard the French doors to my bedroom bang open and yelling.

I felt the hot blood trailing down my neck. I attempted to ignore it but it was practically impossible. I closed my eyes tightly and then I couldn't open them and the sound stopped. All I could hear was a heart beat, at a regular pace, increasing more and more until silence than pain once more.

This continued on a cycle hoping maybe it would soon stop. Maybe I was dead I had no idea what was happening until I heard a British accent call me name, that British accent was Kol's.

My eyes slowly flickered open to reveal Kol's face and standing beside him a blonde haired girl. "Kol." I mumbled.

"Shh.. Don't talk right now you are in a lot of pain." He told me. I started to close my eyes again and then bring the back open. "I couldn't get a doctor because if they fixed you more people would just hurt you so we are fighting It off dear." Kol said.

I hung onto his words trying to get every breath in and every breath out making sure I blink on rhythm.

I held my breath for a few seconds so I could pass back out into relaxation, alone in solution.
