Rain POV

I woke up cold, I wasn't as warm as I was when I went to bed. I turned around to look at Kol, but he was gone. I rubbed my hands over the spot that was now cold.

The covers were thrown back on that side of the bed. I wish he had not left. I rolled onto the middle of the bed throwing my arms and legs out letting the sun warm my skin.

The clock said it was 9:30. I looked on my dresser where a plate was by a drink. I hopped up and grabbed it then climbed back in the bed.

It was eggs and bacon. I chewed on it then I felt a note on the bottom of my plate. I grin flew up on my face.

Dear Rain,

I'm sorry I had to leave. Hopefully this meal was delicious. I made it myself. I'm not very good at making food though. Anyways, I'm thinking about tonight, getting you to Virginia. So make sure you are packed, love.

- Kol

I smiled and put the note in the pillowcase. I looked back on the dresser and saw a black t-shirt and jeans. A note was left on them too.

Dear Rain,

The T-shirt was mine but you look freezing so I don't mind sharing. The jeans are my sisters, hopefully she doesn't mind sharing.

-Kol

I put the shirt and jeans in my hands and went to go change.

After I changed I heard knocking on my door. I went and opened it revealing Klaus. It started sending shivers up my neck. He killed someone. I didn't want to stand in front of a killer.

I turned around and tried to walk calmly back to the bed but I ended up sort of running.

I sat on the bed with a pillow on my lap. I was trying to stay still again.

"Are you okay, love?" He said walking towards me. "Get away from me." I said demanding him to get away. He looked at me and laughed.

"What?" I said. "Nothing." He told me laughing still.

I sighed. "Please leave me alone." I told Klaus. "Fine, love. I have to say though, why are you wearing my brothers shirt?" I raised my eyebrows at him. That was seriously his question.

I shrugged at him. "I wanted to change. Now leave!" I said pointing towards the door. "Fine fine, relax." Klaus said heading towards the door leaving.

After he left I went back to look out the window. I watched everybody leave or enter. I saw a bird fly in the sky.

I wish I could be free like that. I turned back and walked to my bed, laying down. After I laid down I stared at the ceiling thinking.

I was thinking about the escape tonight.
