Relations between two

Chapter 9

Kol POV

Rain just finished her dinner. We are getting our bags together getting ready to leave.

She has her hands pressed against the window. She is also wearing my oversized jacket. I gave her some vervain so I won't compel her. I'm afraid someone will.

"Rain. I want you to listen to me, okay." Well I have already started, so I might as well finish and just tell her.

"I'm a vampire." I said. Rain bursted out laughing. Why was she laughing. "Of course your a vampire." She said laughing.

I still had a straight face which made her stop laughing. "Wait your serious. If you are a vampire prove it to me." She told me.

I really didn't have much of a choice. I ran in vampire speed towards here. "Now. Do you believe me?" I asked.

Rain's eyes were big and she nodded her head. "We are going to run to Virginia. Will practically only take us 5 minutes. " Rain nodded now looking afraid standing In my jacket and shirt.

I put my bag and Rain's on my back and opened the window.

"Are you ready?" I said climbing out into the darkness of the night. Rain nodded as I picked her up. I could tell she was blushing.

As soon as I put her in my arms I told her to close her eyes and she did and we started off.

Rain POV

When I opened my eyes we were at a mansion type house. I wondered if Damon lived here. "Kol is this really where we are staying?" I asked smiling widely.

Kol smiled and put me down from his arms. "Yep." He said while I ran forwards towards the doors and flung them open. I have no idea why I did that.

When I did I came in contact with the same icy blue eyes as before. Damon's. I walked forwards carefully with Kol following behind me.

When I stopped walking I just looked ahead at the fireplace and the antique furniture and lamps. I felt a hand wrap itself around my waist. I could tell it was Kol's.

I really didn't mind though, after all I loved him. We stood there for a second watching Damon's eyes take in the moment.

"You to? An item?" He said. I jumped and shook my head. "Oh no no." I said walked now toward the fire.

"Where's Bren?" I asked looking around. Damon pointed his head towards the right where Bren was standing. She started running towards me and jumping into my arms.

Finally we have each other again.
