Chapter 6

Kol POV

I laid next to Rain talking to her about our escape, I knew if Klaus was home he could most likely hear me.

"Rain, when we can get a chance alone, I will get you to Virginia. You will finally be safe. Don't you ever forget that you will always be safe, I promise, love." I told her. She smiled a little and blushed.

I don't think it's to early to tell, but I think she likes me, and to be truthful I love her, more than anybody else.

Like how Klaus loves Hope the look in his eyes even though its just his daughter.

I hate my brother but at the same time I love him, I'm not sure about how I feel about him. I mean he practically killed me and all. Staked me for awhile.

I stroked her head with the palm of my hand. She smiled lightly again. "I have to go Rain. I will be up with dinner later, love." I told her.

She smiled and blushed and nodded all at the same time. I got up from the bed and walked towards the door waving goodbye watching her stand up.

Rain POV

I watched Kol leave me in the room by myself. He made me feel safe, I liked his warmth. He is a gentleman.

I stared out the window watching it rain. It was already dark outside but it wasn't very late. I pressed my palms to the window to watch what was going on outside.

I watched the other people party and kill people. It's so violent. Tears started to run down my face, I wondered if Kol was out there, what if he was killing people?

I saw Klaus twist someone's neck. I gasped and jumped running back into the bed. And diving under the covers. I started shaking. I absolutely hated gore.

I heard knocking on the door. I started shaking thinking it was Klaus. I refused to let them in. I heard the door unlock and someone come in. Someone set something down on the dresser and sat next to me.

I was so scared I shut my eyes. I felt the covers get torn off of my face. Then I heard laughing. Kol was laughing. I opened my eyes to look at him. "Boo." He said. I started laughing too.

"Really Kol?" I said. He nodded with a red face from laughing. "Okay Kol. Get off the bed I'm hungry bring me my food!" I said flinging my hands up laughing.

He climbed off of my bed and handed me my plate. "Thank you." I said taking it eating some bites.

Kol took my plate as we talked for awhile. I told him goodnight as he headed towards the door.

"Wait Kol." I said as he opened the door. "What love?" He said turning around shutting the door.

"It's cold can you get me another blanket?" I asked looking at him. He nodded picking up a blanket ad laying it on top of me. He climbed on the bed beside me.

It was awkward but I was freezing I hadn't changed clothes since I came here all I had was a tank top and shorts on. His warmth felt good. I just turned my head away from him not to make it awkward.
