Rain POV
When I woke up the sun was streaming into the room. My hand was flung over Kol's chest, and this time he was actually asleep, just like a baby.
I smiled a little and blushed. I had forgotten he was in here earlier. Then I remembered he was a killing vampire, who had great hearing. So the luck is he was hear me if I move.
So I'm staying absolutely still like I'm laying beside a dragon, he is not like a dragon though, he is innocent and kind.
I brush my hands through his hair. I know that he is awake now but I don't care.
"Kol." I said. He shook his head in a no. "Shh.. you are ruining the moment." He whispered to me.
I grinned widely at him. "Oh Kol, how much I love you." I said leaning on his chest again and pulling my arms up against him.
Kol snickered a little. "I told you to be quiet." He said with his eyes still closed. I sighed and closed my eyes resting. I literally didn't want to move at all.
To think we are not together is so underestimated. I would consider us together but we can't be. I hope I forget about him after he leaves.
He was so warm and I loved it. His shirts were always so soft and smelled good. Most of them were just black or graphic tees or whatever, but I loved them.
Kol breathed at such a steady pace, I loved it. I loved everything about him.
I really don't want to get up but I need to, I'm hungry and Kol makes the best breakfasts.
"Kol?" I said again. "Shhh.." He told me stroking my head. "I'm hungry. I want you I make me some food. Please." I said grinning looking at his closed eyes.
"Fine." He said sliding out of bed making me slide onto the other side of the bed where it was cold.
"Love you!" I said watching him walk out of the door waving his hand laughing going downstairs.
Oh how much I loved Kol. I laid down looking at the ceiling. I needed to get up but I was going to wait for him to come back so he could eat with me and keep me warm at the same time.
I was just so tired though now. So I just turned over and closed my eyes letting myself rest.
