It was pitch black dark. There was nothing. A frightened young girl of about thirteen years old was aimlessly wandering around the abyss.

"Hello? Is this thing working?" A man's voice called out to the scared teen. "Can you hear me?"

The girl gasped and let out a high pitched yelp. "Y-yes... Who's there?"

"Whew..." The man's voice sighed in relief. "Thank Arceus, you're not gone just yet. You must listen to me. It'll return any minute now. You need to stay focused, and remember all you can. If you value your memories at all, you'll listen to what I have to say. "

There was a distant cry, and the girl shrunk back in fear.

"We need to be quick. You at least remember your name, right?"

"L-Lillie." The girl responded.

"What else do you remember? Are you a boy or a girl?"

"I'm a girl."

"And do you remember what you look like?"

"I'm pale, thirteen years old, and I have yellow hair and bright green eyes."

"Thank goodness." The man sighed in relief once again. "You still remember everything."

A Gengar appeared and then disappeared, causing Lillie to scream.

"It's here. Lillie, you need to wake up!"

The Gengar appeared once again, and Lillie began to hyperventilate.

"I've sent someone to fend it off and get you out of here!" The man said hurriedly. "You need to wake up!"

Outside the room containing the sleeping Lillie and the Gengar continuously using Dream Eater on her, two people dressed in the robes of the Cult of Darkrai stood, one observing the computer and the other watching Gengar.

"Alright," The cultist who had been watching Gengar approached the cultist at the computer. "The door is locked, and Gengar is doing her thing. Soon, Dream Eater will rid the prisoner of the last of her memories. Hopefully we'll be done within the hour."

Persephone, the Cult of Darkrai's leader, approached her two subordinates. "Well? How is our youngest prisoner faring?"

"According to the computer, Miss Persephone, her memories should be completely gone very soon." The cultist at the computer replied. "Everything is going as planned."

"Excellent," Persephone grinned. "Finally, we'll have fulfilled most of our end of the bargain. Good work, you two."

"Most of our end of the bargain?" The cultist at the computer questioned.

"There's still one more person we need to find, as he got away with a strange looking pink, black and white Pokémon before anything could be done to him." Persephone sneered.

"Gotcha." The cultist who had been watching Gengar nodded.

"We are starting the ritual soon in the upstairs room. Will you be attending?"

"Of course, Miss." The cultist at the computer said happily. "I would never miss a sacrifice."

"Very well." Persephone nodded. "I'll see you upstairs, then." She began to leave, but was stopped by the cultist at the computer.

"Miss, wait, I have a question."

Persephone turned to face her two minions. "What is it?"

"After the girl's memories are gone, what do you plan to do with her?"
