Back at Professor Sylvan's Lab, Lillie had won the battle against Damian.
"Wow, Lillie! You're a great battler! Do you think maybe you could take on a Gym someday?"
"I might as well give it a try." Lillie acknowledged.
Damian beamed. "Good to know! Alright, Lillie. Here's the deal. I'm going to head north into Shade Forest. At the northern end of the forest is a really large cave, and in the middle of that cave is the Rare Stone we're looking for. I'll meet you there, ok?"
"Ok." Lillie winked. Damian then left for the Shade Forest.
Professor Sylvan sighed. "Lillie, can I talk to you for a moment?"
"Sure." Lillie approached the navy blue haired woman. "What is it?"
"Damian rushed off before I could give him one, but I'd like you to have this." Professor Sylvan reached into her coat pocket and pulled out an unfamiliar red electronic device.
"Professor Sylvan, what is that?"
"That, Lillie, is a Pokédex. It's short for Pokémon Index. It is a data collection of all Pokémon that I give to Trainers. If you see a Pokémon, it will be registered in the Pokédex. If you catch one, the Pokédex will be full of data regarding that Pokémon!"
Lillie gasped in amazement. "Incredible!"
"Anyways, now that you've gotten that, you should be all set to go on your adventure. Head up north to Telnor Cave, deep in the forest. Be careful, and good luck!"
"I will, and thanks for everything, Professor Sylvan!" Lillie smiled and waved as she left the building.
A few seconds later, Tapu Lele appeared in front of Professor Sylvan, startling her.
"No way! Tapu Lele, the Legendary Pokémon! What are you doing in here?"
"Lele." The Land Spirit Pokémon handed the navy blue haired Professor the note Adrien had written.
Professor Sylvan looked down at the note and read it.
"To Professor Sylvan,
I sent Tapu Lele to retrieve the last Delta Pokémon for me, as she watched you present two of them to two teenagers my age, and I felt sympathy for those innocent Pokémon. That girl, Lillie, is my twin sister who had been captured by the Cult of Darkrai. By now they're probably aware that she escaped, and they're on a manhunt for her. They're hunting for me too, and that's why I'm in hiding with Tapu Lele. Please don't tell anyone about me at this time, as I am not strong enough to defend myself just yet, and I don't want to risk putting Tapu Lele in danger. I'd really appreciate it if the last Delta Pokémon can be one of mine, as I would love to take care of it.
Sincerely,
Adrien Rivera"
Professor Sylvan beamed. "Adrien's alive! Tapu Lele, please take that Delta Squirtle and this Pokédex to Adrien at once, and tell him that I miss him."
"Lele!" Tapu Lele squealed in delight before grabbing the Pokédex and the Pokéball containing the Delta Squirtle and floating off with them.
Once Tapu Lele was gone, Professor Sylvan let out a deep sigh. "I can't believe I didn't recognize Lillie. She looks so much like Adam, but with Luisa's eyes. Then again, she and Adrien were three years old when I saw them last, so..."

In Shade Forest...
Lillie gulped. This was the place she came upon once she had escaped from the Cult of Darkrai. If they were to find her again...
