And skeletons they are. Two of them, pure white, wearing black and gray clothes, and their eyes are pitch black.

"How did we end up here?" one of them snarls, and I can't help but notice that one of his teeth are dark gray.

"I don't know!" the other stammers. "Something must've gone wrong!"

"Damn right, something did!" Tooth Guy growls to the skeleton in the scarf, the scared one.

"Fell, settle down-" Scarfy whispers, but "Fell" begins to bark at him.

"SETTLE DOWN?! YOUR FLIMSY MAGIC GOT US STUCK HERE, PROBABLY FOR ETERNITY!"

"Woah, chill!" I exclaim, and immediately regret my words when Scarfy and Fell realize I'm in the entryway. They both jump a foot into the air, and Scarfy looks like I have a gun strapped to my back.

"I'm so sorry," he explains hurriedly. "We were trying to get somewhere, but our course was...redirected."

I can't help but snort at his words. "So. Can you leave now?"

"Well, no. Our magic doesn't seem to work here."

"W-what?" I stammer. Do I know what he's going to say next?

"I should intorduce ourselves. I'm Ink, and this is Fell." Not what I was expecting.

"Nice to meet you...Ink. Now can you please take "Fell" somewhere not in my house?"

"But your the only person we know!" he begins to whine, and I can't believe he's attached so quickly.

"Uh...calm down! I'll let you stay for a while. But then you have to leave. Deal?"

Ink smiles happily. "Deal! Now, where can we find our rooms?"

I haven't thought about that.
