Theodore didn't know why the alarm was going off, and he was a little excited to find out why.

The doctor was beside him, eyeing him up, like he was surprised and pleased with the fact that Theodore was still breathing. "You lasted longer than most. Perhaps you are the one," he said, and Theodore didn't like the way he said it at all.

"You can't just say shit like that, man, that's horrifying!"

But his head was hurting and there was movement all around him. The other man had left to go and figure out what was going on. Theodore almost wished he was back there, just so he could avoid looking at the doctor. Theodore looked away instead, ignoring the way the doctor reached out to caress his bruised face. He seemed pleased with how Theodore was sweating, sight going in and out of focus.

He blacked out, only to get things in hyper-focus, see all the little details. His arms felt tingly. The doctor was pleased, the emotions evident on his face, liking whatever results Theodore was showing. The door burst open, and Theodore looked in time to see that Dustin was rushing in screaming, wielding something that looked like a cattle prod. Erica entered the room too, which was fun.

"YES, DUSTIN!" Theodore cheered, watching him hit the doctor with it. "I mean, that's what you get for injecting me with weird shit!"

Dustin helped untie them, and told them to get ready to run. Theodore wondered what he'd done to get to them. It sounded like he'd caused a lot of chaos.

Once Steve was untied, he helped Erica untie Theodore while Dustin helped get Robin free.

Steve grabbed Theodore's hand as the five of them sprinted out of the room. Dustin and Erica led the way out. Theodore didn't let go of Steve's hand, needing him to help him stay upright as they ran. Theodore just kept his eyes on the two kids, trying to follow them. God, his body felt like lead.

"You're not dying are you? I'm gonna be so fucking sad if you die -"

Theodore cut Steve off. "If we get back to that fucking elevator, I won't die," he said, and Steve smiled at that, squeezing his hand tightly.

They found themselves at a vehicle Theodore couldn't remember the name of. The drugs were really messing with his head.

"Just get in," Dustin said, rushing them in as the alarms continued to blare around them.

Theodore, probably the most sober out of them, pushed Robin and Steve in, and then toppled over into the back of it. He laid down, legs pressed against the shut doors. It was a good job he wasn't claustrophobic.

"Lessgo," he said, giving Dustin a thumbs up.

The ride was bumpy and rushed. Theodore was glad he had laid down, as cramped as the space was. Steve and Robin were cramped together next to the mesh wiring to compensate for Theodore taking up most of the space.
