[Aoba's pov]

It had to kick in now. My bushy tail popped out of my pants and my ears perked out of my head. You see, not only do I have the power of Scrap, but I have abilities that of a dog (which coincidently looks like Ren). Not many people knew of my other identity, and I plan to keep it that way. Yet my tail is a dead giveaway. I mean, you try hiding a tail the size of two soccer balls in your pants all day! It's not fun, and people think I have a ginormous a** because of it! So, hiding my dog identity has been proven difficult. But once I get into my house, I immedietly let out my ears and tail. Granny was the only one who knows I'm part dog, and she's been trying to help me frequently, making me feel bad in the end. Now I'm on my way to my friend's house.

[Normal pov]

Aoba was coming over, and you were arranging some things on the kitchen table. That was until you heard a knock at your door. He's here! You let him in the house and said, "Welcome, come on in!"

You had an arrangement of food since Aoba had strange cravings recently. "I have an arrangement of food, so eat up!" You said cheerfully.

Aoba looked very hungry. He ripped apart the various articles of food, which was mainly meat products. In your head, he was like a dog eating its dinner. After Aoba finished eating, you were surprised he ate everything! Not a single thing left! He looked at you embarrassedly and said, "It was a long walk and I was really hungry."

You smiled in response. "Wanna go to my room?" You asked.

He nodded. You both went to your room and he seemed to twitch a little bit. "Are you okay?" You ask Aoba.

"Y-yeah, just itchy." He responded.

"Do you want a back scratcher or something?" You asked.

He nodded again. You got off your bed and went into the hallway to find a back scratcher. You saw one in the umbrella holder and went back to your room. Yet, when you walked back in, you were shocked by the sight! Aoba had a large bushy tail like Ren's, had ears on top of his head, he was shirtless with blue fur growing from his chest, his hands and feet turned into paws, and there was more fur growing everywhere! "(Y/n), help!" Cried Aoba.

"What the f**k happened to you?!" You cried out.

He hid under your cover and shifted a lot. That was until, he was motionless. You ran to your bed and removed the sheet and saw Aoba as a dog! "Aoba! Are you a werewolf or something?"

"No." He said, "I'm half dog. In addition to having Scrap, I have the structure to turn into a dog as well."

You pet his fur and he flinched. "Don't tell me every strand of fur is sensitive!" You said.

Aoba nodded. You sighed in response. No petting Aoba. "Can your other self take over your dog body too?" You asked.

"Yeah, but he's like a wild dog when taking this form! So I avoid it if I can." He answered.

"Can you change back?" You ask.

He went back under the covers and started growing. After he stopped, he was human again, but with the ears and tail and completely shirtless. "It's okay if you don't want to be friends now." He said sadly, "You must think I'm so bizarre and weird now."

You cupped your hand on his cheek and said, "No. I like you no matter what. Besides..." You paused, blushing, "...You look...cuter this way."

Aoba blushed too. Not thinking, you licked his cheek like a dog would, and his face was now red. "H-hey, you didn't have to do that!" He said, feeling embarrassed.

"Don't other dogs enjoy that?" You asked.

"W-well....I'm part human you know!" He said, red as a tomato.

You grinned at him. You dove onto him, and let's just say...there was a lot of puppy love.

Meanwhile, you have Ren sighing at all this.
