Fire and ice (tmnt fan fic)

the break in

"Luna we need to talk" Riley said as I was packing for the break in

He was sitting on my bed handing me things I might need, a flashlight with extra batteries for it, a water bottle,  and an entire medical kit, a talk wasn't one thing I needed

"Really?" I said showing him the case of medicine and bandages

"Do I really need this?"

"Yes, you maybe unable to die but we can still be hurt" he said holding a wrap of bandages

"Doesn't mean I need a full kit.." I said under my breathe

he was quiet again

"we do need to talk" he said breaking the silence

"about?" I asked looking at him from the corner of my eye

he opened his mouth to say some thing but Sophie cut him off

"hey Luna?" she yell though my door

"yeah?" I yelled back trying not to laugh as Riley gave the door a death glare

"we're leaving in ten, are you ready?"

I looked at Riley

"yep" I said popping the 'p'

"there's nothing else I need right now"

he got the message

I walked in the what I call a 'living room' with Riley behind me

"hey your taking forever " Mikey said when he saw me

Naomi glared at me as I walked in

I nodded at her in response

"what's that?" Donnie asked pointing to my old worn backpack

"supplies" I said simply

"For a party!" Mikey yelled

"uh no" I said shouldering my bag nervously and took a step away from him

"um...where's April?" I asked trying to change the conversation

"she had homework to do" Donnie answered sadly

I smile looking at Riley beside Mikto and Mikey leaning on the wall

"I know someone who could help her with that"

his eyes darted straight at me knowing I was talking about him

"he's really smart" I went on

Riley walked to my side and punched my arm but I only flinched

he was smart enough to not think when Naomi was in the room but every one could here him if he talked

"thanks but I already asked her" Donnie said proudly breaking my thought

"I wasn't talking about you"

his proudness left him and he hung his head in defeat

"yeah D she was talking about me of course" Mikey said walking up to Donnie and patting his shell

"it's okay bro, not all of us can be as awesome as Prankinstein"

I heard Mikto laughing and Donnie yell MIKEY!! and chase him around

 we all laughed

"hey!" Leo yelled walking in

"we're about to go on a dangerous mission!"

we were all quiet until Riley muttered "about as dangerous as a kitten" and everyone laughed again

"come on.." Leo said annoyed and we followed to the top joking and laughing
