"Mr Lopez" an officer spoke. "Unfortunately , your free to go. a man by the name Biggie? Bailed you out?"
I looked up from my bunk with a confused look.
Out of all the people big bailed me out? I'm not sure if that's something to be happy about...😳
My cell mate Shawn looked over at me. "nigga aren't you happy? As much as you've been ready to get the hell outta hear you should have been running with no hesitation."
I frowned. "you don't understand G. I work for biggie.... and he's apart of why in here in the first place."
"Just go man.." Shawn said.
I slowly got up and walked out of the cell with the officer.
"Good luck !" Shawn yelled after me and the officer led me through the building until we reached the front desk.
The lady behind it. "Mr.lopez?" She asked .
I nodded.
She handed me some papers. "these are your release papers. now your all set..."
"Your free.." the officer said. a few people are waiting for you through the front.
I took the papers and looked at the officer for a few second and then walked through the front doors.
I instantly saw ramya.
As soon as her eyes met mines. her face lit up. "RAY!!" She screamed running to me full speed and hopping into my arms.
I hugged her tightly spinning her around. "I missed you so much. are you ok?" I said putting her down.
"I'm so glad your free!!!" She smiled, crying from joy of seeing me again.
"Has mike been doing anything to you? Where have-"
I was cut off by some one clearing their throat.
Ramya's smile quickly faded and she turned around and I looked up seeing biggie and his guards along with Justin.
"Well well well... how's it going young nigga.." biggie laughed.
I put my arm around ramya and she wrapped her arms around me.
I didn't respond I just looked at him, clenching my jaws.
"Well you don't have to speak, we'll speak in the truck. lets go.
One of the guards grabbed my arm and led me towards the exit. everyone else walked out also.
Once I walked outside I instantly narrowed my eyes due to the light from the sun.
I haven't seen light in a while... 😒
I looked over and ramya looked worried. I grabbed her hand and she looked up at me. I then saw a bruised puffed up small circle on her face...it looked like a burnt mark?
I frowned "did mike do that to you?". Anger began to build up in my body.
She shook her head and then pointed in front of her at biggie. "I think he wants to kill you.." she mouthed.
I then got angrier. he touched my little sister?! And he wants to kill me? Hell no. fuck that.
Once we reached the car everyone began to get inside but I stopped and quickly got an idea. I yanked ramya before she got into the truck "run!"
Biggie and the guards instantly looked at me, but me and ramya sprinted out of the parking lot and across the busy street.
"Catch them!" I heard biggie yell.
Cars passing through hit their breaks and honked their horns at us as we safely made it to the other side of the street .
We didn't stop though. we just kept running.
