I get out my phone and quickly take a photo of Mark and Rebecca kissing.

"Baby how about we go to the bedroom and I show you how much I missed you," Rebecca explains smirking at him.
He's disgusting for leading Emma and my child along.

I think I might hurl.
I hear the bedroom door close. Finally I open the closet doors and crawl out of it.
I quietly run to the front door and open it slipping outside. I walk down the block where I hid my car. Thank the lord I put a bag with clothes in it in my car. Slipping into the drivers seat starting the car.
Ring Ring
"Hello yes I need a last minute plane ticket to New York City," I explain to the man I'm talking too.
"Yes thank you,"

"Charlotte where's my phone," I yell looking everywhere for it.
"Mommy it's right here," she says running into the living room.
"Oh thank you sweetie,"
"Okay let's see who's calling," I ask her curious.
Carter
I gulp the lump in my throat.
Why is he calling is something wrong?
We haven't talked since Rebecca told him she was pregnant.
Approve.
"H-hello," I say stuttering.
"Emma,"
"Yes C-carter," I answer nervously.
"I need to talk to you it's very important," Carter explains to me.
"Okay,"
Knock Knock
"Can you please put Charlotte in her room and open the door," he asks me.
"S-sure," I answer.
"Charlotte sweetie please go to your room and play with something and don't come out until I say so okay?" I ask her.
"Okay mommy," she answers kissing my cheek and hugging me.
I sigh before walking over to the door.
I take a big deep breathe before opening the door.
"Hi C-carter," I stutter at him.
He's wearing a nice dark blue T-shirt with some washed out blue jeans.
Oh wow he looks very handsome.
"Emma can I come in please," he asks me politely.
"Sure Carter," I finally say perfectly.
