19) I Want To Know Her

The bright sun hit my face as my eyes as they flicker open. I roll over to face the love of my life.

"What time is," I ask getting up from the bed.

"Um 8:30 why," he asks me grabbing my wrist to pull me back into bed kissing my lips.

"Mhm Charlotte the babysitter," I explain kissing him back.

"Oh okay hey we should have a family day so Charlotte and I can bond,"

"I want to know my daughter," he tells me.

"You know what that would be great, how long are you staying for," I ask getting dressed.

Carter comes up behind me and whispers in my ear.

"3 weeks," he says smiling.

"Thanks again Aunty J for watching her last night," I say to her as she leaves.

"No problem Emma anytime," she answers hugging me.

"Charlotte," I yell from the living room.

"MOMMY," Charlotte yells coming into the room pulling me into a big hug.

"Hi sweetie how are you," I ask hugging her back.

"Good mommy how was your night out with Carter," she ask giggling.

"It was good and guess what," I ask her smiling big.

"What mommy," she answers.

"Carter is going to take us both out today," I tell her.

"Like a.....family day," she asks me as her beautiful little eyes light up.

"Yeah sweetie,"

"OH MY GOODNESS YAY," she screams running around the room.

I laugh at her as she jumps up and down.

"Okay Charlotte go got ready Carter will be here in 30 minutes," I tell her.

"I will help you do your hair too,"

"Okay mommy,"

"Hi Carter," I say opening the door.

"Where's Charlotte," he ask looking around.

"Oh she just went to get her shoes---," I managed to say before he kissed me slowly.

I was the first one to pull away.

"Carter we can't not do that in front of her," I say slapping his shoulder.

"I know that's why I asked where she was," he say laughing.

"Mommy I'm ready," Charlotte said walking out of her room.

"Okay sweetie let's go," I said grabbing her little hand as we both walk out together.

"Um hi Carter," she says softly to him.

"Hi Charlotte how are you today," he asks her.

"I'm good,"

"Good,"

Oh my goodness my heart is going to burst their so cute.

Before getting into the cab Carter comes up behind me whispering into my ear.

"Did I mention you look beautiful today," he asks politely.

"No," I answer blushing.

"Well you do,"

"Thank you," I whisper back.

The rest of the day went by in a flash Carter took us everywhere Charlotte showed him everything she likes it was so cute. He took us to park and pushed Charlotte on the swing. He tried to push me off the swing don't worry I'm going to get him back. Then we went to dinner as a family which Charlotte loved seeing all of us together.

And as a finally treat took us to get ice cream.

After that Charlotte was exhausted and asked Carter to carry her which he did.

She fell asleep in his arms.

This is the perfect family I wanted.

I wanted this to last forever.

But all good things must come to an end.

Chapter 19 was a long one so I hope you guys enjoyed it.

Also I think this ending is a little cliffhanger so sorry.
