Ch. 14 - Unbreak my heart

No one's P.O.V. 

It had been 3 years since anyone had seen Jungkook. Everyone was worried, even Y/N. All of the member's of BTS were worries, all projects were put on a hiatus since their maknae was one. 

After two years had passed, basically everyone had given up. BTS was forced to continue as six group member, while Y/N was prepared to debut with a group under BigHit of the name of Tomorrow X Together, or TXT for short. He was the third oldest, only being younger than Soobin by few weeks. 

While training with TXT Y/N got closer to BTS since now they were officially his hyungs. Taehyung, and Y/N ended up dating for two years but they ended up breaking just because Taehyhung was so busy now that BTS had become international superstars that he would forger important dates like Y/N's birthday or their anniversary, many times leaving Y/N waiting on restaurant for hours alone, sometimes not showing up at all. 

They both agreed to end their relationship in order to at least save their relationship. It had now been the third year since Jungkook disappear. Everyone remembered him, specially everyone in BTS, they made sure they always kept an extra bed for him, and made sure to always mention him in interviews, concerts, etc. 

Y/N would think about Jungkook ocassionally, but tried to focus more on his upcoming debut, than about Jungkook, specially after all that he was put through. 

Y/N's P.O.V. 

Tonight was the night that Y/N would debut with TXT, everyone was nervous of course, and the three oldest felt like they had the responsibility make sure that the maknae line was doing good. Y/N walked up to Huening Kai, who looked the most nervous "Hey are you okay kid?" Y/N asked as he sat down next to him, softly patting his back 

"Who are you calling kid? I'm taller than you" Huening Kai responded, trying to hide his nervousness 

Y/N's twitched as he softly smacked the back of Huening Kai's head "Ya! respect your elders! I'm trying to make sure you are okay!" Y/N grumbled as he stood up from his chair 

"You are the Yoongi of our group!" Huening Kai shouts smiling before getting up and hugging Y/N "Thank you hyung, for trying to make me feel less nervous, I'll do my best to make sure we have a great debut" Huening Kai whispered into Y/N's ear, making Y/N smile softly. 

He just nodded and backed away, giving a thumbs up to his younger bandmate before heading back to his chair, only to notice Soobin sittint next to it. 

"What is it now hyung" Y/N grumbled as he sat on his chair. "Just making sure my cute dongsaeng is not nervous" Soobin said smirking, knowing well Y/N hated being younger than him. Y/N just frowned and glared at Soobin, causing the older to chuckle "You know, you shouldn't frown so much, you'll get wrinkles" Soobin smirked as he leaned closer, and placed his finger in between Y/N's brows. 

Soon their little moment was broken by the staff telling them that they were on next. Soobin's demeanor then change, he was the leader after all "Okay guys let's all gather around!" Soobin shouted, and everyone came forming a circle "Okay let's kill this!" Y/N shouted as they all put in their arms in the middle and did a little chant. 

Soon they were all getting in line and entering the stage. They quickly got in formation, and the music quickly started. This all felt surreal to Y/N, the music took over his body, and he made sure every step, and every note was perfect, he practiced day and night for this, and he couldn't let down his bandmates. 

As the crowd was cheering for them, he could feel a pair of eyes watching him. A very familiar pair of eyes, but he was too focus on the dance to even care to the try to pinpoint who it was. 

After was felt forever, the music ended, and they were all gasping for air. They all quickly bowed, and returned to the back. They all cheered together, and before he knew it he was pulled into a hug, and kissed by Soobin. 

Jungkook's P.O.V. 

It had been three years since Jungkook had stepped back in Seoul. He needed to go back home, to his hometown. He had traveled back to Busan, and bought a house under a fake name. 

He took this time to reflect on himself, to reflect on his actions, and one could truly say that Jungkook had matured over these past few years. He had grown, and learned from his mistakes. Of course he still loved Y/N, however, he was worried that Y/N had moved on by now. That Y/N hated Jungkook too much to let Jungkook into his heart. 

But Jungkook had to try, he couldn't give up without a fight. Jungkook grabbed his phone, and logged in into the BTS twitter account, quickly snapping a photo, with a very special quote. 

'I'm sorry for being gone for so long, I will be back to my friends, members, ARMY and my love' 

He quickly posted, and rushed to the train back to Seoul. He knew of Y/N, he knew he was debuting today, so today had to be the day in which he reveals his feelings once again, today would be the day that Jungkook would ask Y/N for his forgiveness and a second chance. 

The train ride felt like forever, his tweet had broken the internet by now. Everyone was talking about it, the members were anxious trying to figure out a way to reach him, but no one still knew where he was. 

But where was Jungkook now, of course he was in the crowd. Waiting for Y/N's group to come on stage and perform, his debut performance. Jungkook's heart was racing, his eyes widened as he watched the smaller male come to stage with the other members, he felt proud and happy. He wanted to jump on stage and hug him, tell him how badly he wanted to be with him, but he had to be patient. 

Part of him was hoping that Y/N would notice him, but it would be impossible for that to happen since his hair was now longer, plus he was wearing a beanie and a facemask. He watched the performance attentively, his eyes glued on Y/N. 

As soon as the performance ended, he rushed to the back, they almost didn't let him in, but he took his beanie and facemask off, revealing his identity, shocking everyone,  eventually letting him in. Jungkook was waiting impatiently for Y/N to come down the stairs. 

Eventually they all started to come down, the group cheering together, then Jungkook saw Y/N being pulled into a hug and be kissed by one of the members. His eyes widened, as he could feel his heart shattering into pieces once more. 'So you moved on I see.... I don't blame you' Jungkook thought to himself before turning around, only to freeze when he saw his old bandmates standing in front of him
